Getting to Work on Time

anonymoose_au11:11pm: Haha, I probably shouldn't be so proud of myself for fulfilling a basic expectation of employment, but whatever. I'm not known for my punctuality as long time readers will know :OP
But yes, I got to the library at 8:30am and did the opening procedures and everything went A-OK, although much to my displeasure I discovered I was on the 4pm-5pm shift as well, which meant I could leave work early. I couldn't even have an extra long lunch because there was a meeting with one of our magazine suppliers - not the Classic Bike/Bike Guide supplier, the other one. We've just signed up with them so they were showing us their website log in and and the ins and outs of that. In the meantime, they're going to look into where our Australian Women's Weeklys are because I would have thought we'd at least be getting February's issue but no sign! Hopefully they show up soon, it's one of our most popular magazines especially with the Home Library Service crowd.
In other news, my Godmother turns 70 on Friday and I'm meant to post her a birthday card, which I want to make myself as she makes a card for me for my birthday. However, I have no idea what to create...maybe something related to sewing as she does enjoy doing that. I have to get a wriggle on though otherwise it won't arrive in time and I'll look like a tool.
In other news, I think I have to clear up space on my Acer again, my games are starting to lag every so often, bummer. I guess as long as I remember where I put all my Sims pics and screen shots it should be OK.
Finally, when I see my parents tomorrow I have to ask if they've finished reading the books I borrowed for them on my card because they're due back and I've already renewed them once! I've also got books I should return to, except I haven't read them yet. Dang.
OK, better be off now! It's almost 11:30 and I need my zzzs.
