A Champion is Crowned!

anonymoose_au11:39pm: At the Aussie Open, Carlos Alcaraz has won the event and is now the youngest man to ever complete a Career Grand Slam. I didn't realise this, but the guy has 7 Grand Slam titles already and he's not even 23 yet. Da-yamn. Rafael Nadal was there to see it which was nice. I do wonder where Roger Federer got to... He was here at the Opening Ceremony, but not afterwards, he brought the whole family over so I'd have thought he'd stick around for a bit, maybe he headed to Rottnest Island to hang out with Quokkas LOL.
Speaking of sports I finally got a PB at archery today! Although as it happened I hadn't actually shot this distance before so yeah, but I think the score I got was pretty good though! It was 40 metres which is the distance of the big competition next weekend (as I've mentioned), except it was a 122cm target and the competition will have an 80 cm one which may very well kick my ass. I'm thinking of popping down to evening practice tomorrow, although it might be rainy, hopefully not.
I will say it was humid as all Hell this morning, it was like Queensland weather (tropical) and I was sweating haaaard. Fortunately, it wasn't a long shoot so I was able to go home and take a shower before going over to my parents place with the Roast Pork for Sunday dinner.
My afternoon sucked a bit though - I was hoping to go over to Aldi to get a small laptop desk, but Dr Gluon was streaming and then I got a absolutely horrid headache and had to lie down with an ice pack on my head. I ended up falling asleep and when I woke up it was 7pm and too late to get to Aldi which closes at 8pm even if I wanted to.
Righto, I better dash, it's nearly midnight and I have work tomorrow!
Haha they're interviewing Carlos and the ground is going a bit wild...I wonder if these people will be heading to work tomorrow :OP
