6:49pm: It is a Moose!
Yes, yes, I know I said I was going to update more, but then I got both busy and lazy...
Anyway! I've just realised, horror of horrors that since my last update I've moved into my new apartment (the one I actually own 90/10 with my parents) and I haven't shown you guys any photos! (Although if you follow me on Facebook you've probably seen them)
This is a terrible oversight! Because the place is awesome and I'm super proud of it!
Now originally I took some panoramic shots, but either my phone isn't up to the task - or more likely my unsteady hands just made it look shitty, so I'll skip those and instead present...
My table area It's been nearly four years since I bought that table for this very occasion! (That is, a small space) it has two sides that can be folded down independently of each other, so as a general rule I just have this one side up, but if I have guests over I open the other side and seat up to four! (LOL, good thing I don't know a lot of people ;O)!)
The Wintergarden! Now I was under the impression that a Wintergarden was like an actual garden, so I wasn't expecting what's practically a second room! Out there I've got my old bed - which is now a day bed, my display cabinet, my bed box (that was suppose to fit next to my daybed, but Mum and I totally failed at measuring the width of the room and it juuust didn't fit, do'h!), my storage basket thing and (temporarily) my portable air conditioner - which I've been using despite the fact I had to keep one bank of windows prety much open to fit the outlet hose, but thankfully today the handyman came by with a perspex sheet he had made up to replace one of the glass louvers so now I can have it on without trying to cool the whole suburb.
My Kitchen! Check out the dishwasher! It's actually ridiculously big for one person, but the construction company must have got a huge discount for bulk buying. It sure washes well though! Also check out that sexy marble-like counter. I actually don't have as much stuff on the counters now, which makes my mother happy :OP
My pride and joy - the Water Dispensing Fridge! It's not plumbed in so I have to refill a tank, but it's still 100% than having to open the fridge every time I want water - which is often. Also my green toaster and kettle look very nice! You can also see the Pusheen Biscuit Jar there.
The entry and storage One of the most awesome things about the place is how much storage there is! There's a wardrobe and cupboard with shelves behind those mirrored door on one side and in the reflection you can see the bathroom door and another cupboard with frosted doors :OD And behind the white doors is the laundry...although there's quite a tale about getting the washing machine hooked up!
My new double bed! With my Pusheen doona cover! Love it! :OD The bed has four drawers underneath it providing yet more storage. I really should have enough space for everything...but those are fammous last words aren't they...
The COUCH, it's not actually as bright white as that photo suggestions, but still it's a risky choice, but it's so nice! Also I saved $100 on it because I got it through Gumtree because getting it new would have taken like two months. Of course, I was lucky that my mother's friend with her SUV was here so that she and Mum could pick it up, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to get it.
So there's a brief tour! I didn't take a photo of my credenza (where the TV is) because it's not very interesting since I haven't got my Siamese Fighting Fish yet.
I've got a fan above my bed now, it was just installed today and I've got it on now, rather than the air-con, it's doing a really good job I must say.
I've also got a side table for my couch along with an ottoman, that's very handy in that it's actually a double ottoman - there's a smaller one inside and the lid of the bigger can be turned over and it has a little tray on it, very handy for my plant.
Right, I'm cooking dinner at the moment so I better wrap this up and make sure my sausages aren't getting burnt!
Hope you enjoyed the apartment tour!
Ta-ta for now!
