I Should Invited Dad Over...

anonymoose_au11:09pm: For an inspection of the flat, although it's not very clean right now, certainly not to Dad-standards! But Mum's most current email asks about it and I'm sure she'll be suspicious if I don't try and get Dad over here. In which case I really need to pull my finger out and clean this place up!
Somewhat related, but not really - the foot rest that came with the chair I bought from Vinnies to match the green one that was all ready here has this terrible tendency to molt...there's little fabric balls all over the damn place. Also the spring on the green chair continues to pop out of the U-shaped nail...which is probably another reason to get Dad over here, or perhaps the Landlord, either way the place needs to clean.
Moving on, my friend's gift to me arrived today! :OD These adorable socks! Look at them! So cute! Thanksisleofapples, you're awesome.
My little figure skate blades are still nowhere to be seen, I sure hope they show up because I'll be damned annoyed if they never come.
I also got the stuffing, fortunately the fabric shop in Mona Vale had smaller sized bags then the one I saw in the window, it's much softer then the stuffing I got from Lincraft too, my Pusheen is going to be very cuddly! Although I'm going to need to re-cut my fabric, because I've realised Pusheen is kind of egg-shaped whereas the pattern I used creates more a bullet shape. Or, I guess I could just unpick the whole thing and do some cutting. I'll have to figure that out tomorrow.

Oh yeah and when I spoke to the panel beaters about which kind of fuel to put in the loan car I was told that the new side panel has been put on, and now the car just needs to be painted. So I can expected it to be ready to be picked up later this week. Yay!
And now, I must be off, if I'm going to finish my Russian learnings!
