11:13pm: For my Pusheen plush, because it's going to be rather bigger than the amount of stuffing I have left. Hmmm...I have seen some stuffing available for sale at the Fabric shop in Mona Vale - which I'll be going to tomorrow to work a shift at the library - but it was a pretty big bag. I guess I can always ask if they have a smaller one. I don't want to make too many plushies! :OP

In other news, it was ANZAC Day today, lest we forget, and once again I was unable to spot Grandpa in the march, I swear I can never find him! I'll have to ring and ask whereabouts he was in the march, because sometimes he seems to be at the back, other times in the front. I did enjoy watching the bands though, some of them have amazing uniforms.

I didn't do much else today although I did make sure to go out for a walk so I didn't go too stir crazy here in the flat. I went to the IGA which was open and bought some chocolate chip biscuits and cheese wedges. The latter I've all ready eaten. I should stop doing that, LOL.

Right, let's have a meme!

The (Other) Friday Five

The William Shakespeare Edition

Today's questions are brought to us by the letter F, the number 5, tediousandbrief on livejournal.

1) What was the first Shakespeare play you read or seen preformed? I believe it was a Midsummer Night's Dream which we read as part of the Gifted and Talent class I was in. I'm pretty sure that was the first one.

2) What is your favorite Shakespeare play? I did end up liking most of them...if I had to pick one though...The Merchant of Venice, I thought it was interesting!

3) What is your least favorite Shakespeare play? I only know a few of them...so I feel unqualified to answer.

4) Who do you think wrote Shakespeare; are you a Stratfordian or Oxfordian? I don't know what that last bit means...And I guess Shakespeare wrote the plays, maybe with some help...He definitely used stories that had been previous used.

5) Which Shakespeare plays have you read or seen or seen preformed? Let's see Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet.

Saturday 9

:Little Red Corvette:

From the archives.
In memory of Prince (1958-2016)

1) The subject of this song is frankly sexual. Do you blush easily? I dunno, I don't look in the mirror when I hear embarrassing stuff, LOL.

2) Prince was his real first name (Prince Rogers, to be exact). Growing up, his relatives called him "Skipper." Do you have any nicknames within your family? Indeed! I am the Moose!

3) Prince said he was "obsessed" with Mozart and read whatever he can find about the composer. What's the last book you read? It was a book about IBS, it was quite interesting, though a very long read indeed.

4) Between Prince and The Beach Boys, the Corvette is a much sung-about car. Tell us about your vehicle. Well, it's currently undergoing repairs after the parking lot incident, but it's a beautiful two door Mazda 2 in green. I love him and call him George :OP

5) In the 1980s, when Prince was popular, MTV could turn a song into a hit. In 2016, where do you hear new music? Don't listen to new music to be honest. I hate most of it anyway. Although I did hear about The Corrs new album through Facebook.

6) In 1982, when "Little Red Corvette" ruled the airwaves, Braniff Airways shocked the travel industry and threw passengers into chaos by declaring bankruptcy. When did you last fly? Did your trip go smoothly? Man, it was way back in 2001, from Bali back to Sydney. Aside from the shitty position of the plane seats it was quite good. The food for example was quite good!

7) 1982 is also the year Disney opened Epcot. Have you ever been to a Disney park? Yes, two! The original and EuroDisney.

8) 1982 is the year Cheers premiered. The sitcom was set in a bar where "everybody knows your name." Tell us about your favorite local bar or restaurant. Don't have one, I'm not much for going out.

9) The 1980s were considered a highpoint in professional tennis, with Jimmy Connors and John McEnroe dominating the sport. Do you play tennis? I have tried...but I'm really, really shitty at it. This despite taking lessons for like a year. I mean I only took them one hour a week during school term time, but that's still pretty pathetic. Sport ain't my thing. :OP

Right, only ten minutes 'til midnight so I better haul ass!
