A Race of Giant Space Ants...?!

11:10pm: OK not a race, more like one, but it was quite large! I tried to squish it, but it kept getting away and now I'm not sure where it's gone. Which is quite worrying because it looks like it could pack a mighty bite. O.o

Moving on from that topic, I still need to clean my flat more but I did get around to making a budget so that I can figure out how much rent I can afford to pay in preparation for looking at somewhere else to live. Of course, I've emailed Mum about it, because I'm not the sort of person who can make decisions for myself :OP No just kidding, it's more that I'd like to have her input. Although there is the problem of not knowing how much bills cost...with most of these places I'll have around $350 to $400 left a month for electricity, water and internet, is that enough? I need to know before I put an offer in or anything like that.

Aside from budgeting work was on today, it went well! :D It's a busy library and there were lots of books to reshelve and the odd patron to assist. I think I'm going to do well in the weekend position! Although I have to say I'm not looking forward to the end of Sundays' shifts when daylight savings ends, it'll be almost dark! Booo. Oh well, at least I can park my car in the Shopping Centre's parking lot, it's free on weekends.
