anonymoose_au11:15pm: Oh man, look at the time! I don't know what I've been doing but time has definitely got away from me...once again the Memes will need to be foregone.
Anyway, to get to the subject of this entry this morning was the family get together for Grandpa's birthday and his and M's 60th wedding anniversary.
Mum had got a very small wedding type cake for them, with a nice message on top. It was really very impressive how many words the cake decorator managed to fit on it! There was another cake too, what was left of Mum's Bon Voyage cake from the Parish. She wasn't too impressed by it because it had faux cream rather than fresh cream, but nuts to that, it was delicious! :OD I got half of it to take home, at first I was only going to take a small bit, but there was quite a lot left. I've cut the second bit in half and put it in the freezer since there's no way I could eat it all in a timely manner, LOL.
Anyway, it was a great get together, although I did talk a bit too much...same ol' same ol'. I really must do something about that...
Mum and Dad were good enough to pick me up (since the little bro ran late because he forgot to set his alarm) and also drop me off. They'll be leaving on their trip at the end of this week and I wonder when I'll see them before they go...I guess on Tuesday when I've agreed to go into the city to pick something up for Mum. I shall bring it back to their place.
Now, as I said bed calls so I shall have to wrap this up.
