Moose - Laptop Extraordinare!

anonymoose_au11:35pm: Yes! The new hard drive arrived this morning and it is now sitting inside my laptop with the contents of the old hard drive copied over and now no more warning whenever I start up that hard drive failure is imminent! And further to that, Windows now starts up quickly, like it used to. Sweeet.
I took my laptop over to the parentals before I had to head over to Mum's place of work and then we went to the apartment to attend a meeting (man, I hate those things, but what can you do?) which also gave me the chance to get the inflatable Scrabble from my Box Thing. Hopefully, I'll be able to convince some friends to play it with me. And find a way to inflate it without me needing to sacrifice my lungs!
So yes, I took the laptop over with the plan for Dad to help me with the hard drive replacement, but as it turned out I was able to do it pretty much by myself! I did need the help of their screw drivers so good thing I came! :OP Oh and of course I had to borrow one of Dad's external 1TB hard drives to copy the contents of the old drive to the new one.
I also cleaned my flat today, although as it turned out Mum didn't come by to see it when she dropped me off after all - oh well. I think though, the dust has effected my eyes which feel really dry right now. That being the case and the fact that it's 15 minutes to minute means I'm gonna wrap this up.
