11:04pm: But I've totally forgotten what it was? LOL, guess once again it wasn't important.
Anyway, I got a phone call today from the Dee Why Library asking me to come in next Thursday for volunteer induction, that sounds pretty cool! Although sadly...nothing from the ABC :O( My positive thinking seems not to have worked! Boo.
I do have to apply to more jobs though, I didn't actually see the story, but apparently there's a rumour out there that as part of the Government's new "Tough on the Unemployed" strategy that if you're on benefits and don't take any job out there, they'll stop your money. I don't want to have to be a ditch digger or something!
Tomorrow though promises to be rather busy, I have to deliver my suspend form to Medibank, check out the gym at the other RSL that's in my neck of the woods here and probably do more ironing for Mum's friend since while I was down in her house doing my laundry I saw a pretty full basket down there.
And I don't have much else to say about today, so it's a good thing that I've got two Booking Through Thursdays to catch up on!
Booking Through Thursday
R-Rated
How do you feel about explicit detail in your reading? Whether language, sex, violence, situations and so on … does it bother you? Faze you at all? Or do you just read everything without it bothering you?
Well, I certainly don't want in-my-face violence, because I don't need to read descriptions of that stuff. Language I'm OK with, as long as it isn't streams of racist epithets or something. Sex...eh, I usually find it more hilarious than anything else, although that's probably because I've most read it in those terrible cheesy romance novels. :OP
Format
All other things being equal, what is your favorite format for reading? Hardcover? Paperback? New book? Old book? Leather-bound first edition? E-book?
I think I might have answered this question all ready, but, all things being equal? Probably hardcover, because they tend to stay open on their own while you're reading them and they look nicer. :O)
Aaand, since I went to bed a little too late last night, I really must wrap this up and head to bed.
Goodnight all!
