My Legs Hurt...

9:37pm: Well, dang, I think I need to see the podiatrist again to get my orthodics adjusted because my legs are really quite sore after work today, particularly the knee area. Only problem is that now I'm poor I can't afford to go! My private health insurance does it even cover podiatry - which is some serious BS - so no help there. I might have to do it anyway because if I'm going to get a job as a cashier or something I'm going to be standing up a lot and I can't afford to have sore feet!
In other news tomorrow is the big Centrelink appointment and Mum is here because she'll be coming with me tomorrow. I hope we learn some good news, although I totally need to get my act together, because if I can't get a job of some description I'll never be able to stay in the apartment! As it I can't imagine ever having a stable enough job to get a mortgage or anything, it looks like I'll have to use the Bank of Mum and Dad to get on in life! Unless I find some special skill which I can exploit...Maybe I could make Pinkie Pie plushies LOL.
Anyway, my father was irrated at me before Mum and I left for my apartment this evening, because he was trying to give me job finding advice and I was kind of being an ass and always having a comment to reply with. He did have some good ideas, which I really must do and report back to him. Apparently he's kind of stressed out wondering what will become of me career-wise and I hate making him worry because he's got a lot on his plate right now.
Sigh, then there's the whole moving out of Newtown to take care of the parental house while they're staying at my grandparents' place while M and Grandpa are away on a cruise. I've mentioned this before, but I'd sooo rather do anything else, moving all my crap from the big wardrobe in my apartment is just a tremedous pain in the ass. On the other hand, it would allow me to give my parents some extra money, which apparently they could really use. Bah! Difficult decisions and I suck at non-difficult decisions!

1. What is the last book that you passed on to someone else to read? Uh...I don't think I've actually done that...Wow, I've had other people pass books on to me, but not the other way around. Interesting...
2. The one song you secretly or not so secretly want to sing at karaoke? Ha ha, when I went karaoke-ing last year - or was it the year before? - I rickrolled everyone, that was fun! I also enjoy singing Don't You Love Me Baby
3. If you had to pick a new name for yourself, what would it be? Oh man, I really like my name...I guess I'd go with...Alison, because I'd like to be called 'Al'.
4. What do you wish your administrator or boss would notice? Well the newsagency boss is cool, I think if an extra shift was to come up he'd offer it to me, so that's good.
5. What is your biggest pet peeve? The English pronouciation of 'vitamin'. OMG, it's like nails on a chalk board to me!
6. What holds you back in pursuing your biggest dream? A lack of a proper income, damnit!
7. Why do you think you are a lovable person? But of course! :OP
8. If every day had an extra hour in it, what would you do with it? Probably just wile time away on the internet, LOL.
9. The last song you turned up in your car or house was? Well, there was an add that used that I can't remember the name of but it has the line "I don't hear a word they're saying, only the echos of my mind"
10. What is a secret talent you may have? Well shit son, if I knew that I'd tap into it and use it for income purposes!
11. Your favorite thing to do outside when it's not too cold out in the winter? Just go on a stroll maybe visit some libraries.
12. How do you respond if someone asks you an inappropriate or nosy question? Typically I'm the one who asks those questions! I can't remember the last time I was asked a question like that. Shrug.

Right the appointment is at 9:45 tomorrow so I better get to bed, on a final note, my mother put all of the coffee mugs in the dishwasher before we left on Saturday (after coming to get my tennis clothes) and ruined my Agatha Christie mugs! D: This is a pretty big blow because the came as part of a gift for subscribing to the Agatha Christie Magazine/Book Collection. Serious bummer right there. Oh well, at least the set of coasters are safe at the parentals...
Oh and one last thing, Mum and I took advantage of my free birthday meal this evening at Nandos but it turned out to be a bit a schmoozle when we misunderstood the cashier and ordered our chicken with a mild sauce instead of the lemon and herb! And as far as my palate was concerned there was nothing mild about it! Most disappointing, oh well at least the chips were good, and it was free.
And I ate the last piece of my birthday cake this evening, ah the dream is over. :OP
Right, now I must be off, but I'd just like to wish my friend
nashira a very Happy Belated Birthday! I can't believe I missed it, so embarrassing. Hope it was a good day though!
Goodnight all!
