Ooooo, Sims 3

anonymoose_au10:18pm: So, I bought The Sims 3: Island Paradise a couple of weeks back but I've only just started to really play it. As you can imagine from the name its all about islands! And with my latest obsession it seems fitting that I made an Elaine Marley and family to test out the new island neighbourhood. There's even a houseboat available, LOL! I look forward to sending them off for scuba diving and boat cruises, there's even mermaids! Whoo! I'll keep you updated on my progress, maybe I can finally resurrect mooseys_sims.
In other news, you won't believe what the news agency boss asked me today. Apparently one of the employees is going on a 5 week holiday at the end of August and he's asked if I want to pick up am extra shift for that time! Ha, it never rains it pours. However, that could well conflict with the five weeks the office job wants me to do, so I have to find that out first. If not though, this could be a great opportunity to build up my savings, yay!
In less 'yay' related matters, I finally submitted my tax return and realised I'd claimed something I shouldn't have, so I took it out and found I owed over $300 again, damn it! I claimed some other stuff, but I still owe like $292, bummer. I lodged it though, because I guess I should pay some tax.
But I also discovered something else, when I looked closely at my Superannuation account, I realised something, I couldn't find any evidence that the news agency has been paying my super! This is terrible! So, now I have to make some rather awkward inquiris to the boss about this. Everyone gets super, or at least they're meant to. I could have sworn I gave him the proper info. Man, I hope this doesn't end up being a big deal.
Anyway, I wanna get back to my game, so I'll just catch up on the memes and head off!
