9:07pm: So today was the big day, the Final Mass for World Youth Day 2008.

It all started early in the morning, 5:45am, the sun hadn't even risen! And alas, I didn't get very many hours of sleep, which means I'm yawning my head off right now.

I'm trying to upload some pictures of the big day, but the internet is being a slow-ass, hopefully though they'll upload soon enough.

They're not from my Boss's camera though because I totally ran down the battery on it, so much that I can't even turn it on to get the photos of it. However, I think my father took better pictures anyway, LOL!

The Day As It Was )

So, here we are back at the parentals.

In other news, The Simpsons are on now, but I think I might have all ready seen it... and Mum is watching Compass about abolishing celibacy in the priesthood.

I tend to think they're putting too much stock in this whole celibacy thing, like every problem the church has ever had is gonna be solved once priests can marry. I sincerely doubt this... also when they interview people who say "I'd be happy to have a married priest, he'd understand what I'm going through as a married person." So would that mean that priest wouldn't be able to counsel me because I'm not married?

Although the lack of priests is a big problem, but it seems fixing that would be letting women become priests before anything else.

And I'm sure most of you don't care about the above. :OP

Saturday Six

1. You decide to start a new exercise program. Without having a workout partner to help you, how likely are you to follow the plan religiously?

Even with a workout partner I'm not sure how likely I would be to follow through because I'm a lazy procrastinating ass. Although I guess I'd be more likely to succeed with a workout partner rather than not.

2. Who was usually the first one to say, “I love you” in your past relationships: you or your partner?

N/A.

3. If you decided you wanted to date someone, what would the primary test you’d give to see whether your “intended” had commitment issues?

Errr...I don't want to date anyone and can't imagine I will any time soon. Although, I have to say I'm not sure what I think about 'testing' someone, that's seems really weak.

4. Take the quiz: Are you afraid of commitment?

This quiz doesn't work, I've never said I love someone (in the non-patonic sense), or been in a relationship or anything, but that's not because I'm afraid of commitment, I just don't want a relationship.

5. Do you find yourself faster or slower to commit to a presidential candidate now versus previous elections?

Don't have Presidental elections in Australia, we don't even directly elect our Prime Minister, rather we elect the party. Having said that I was damn quick to make sure I put Liberal (John Howard) at the very bottom. And it worked! Huzzah!

6. You see something in a store that you really, really want. Once you decide that you’re actually going to buy it, how easy would it be to talk yourself out of your commitment to buy it?

Errr...probably pretty easy, I'm constantly doubting myself, I often have to ask someone to tell me to buy it (or not buy it), LOL!

Unconcious Mutterings

I say ... and you think ... ?

1. Flicker :: Photos

2. Styling :: Hair

3. Episode :: Three (?)

4. Sexier :: Hot

5. Studious :: Glasses (even though as a wearer I can testify this isn't a sure indicator!)

6. Mushroom :: Magic

7. 8 minutes :: Title of a Cold Case episode.

8. Bald :: Homer!

9. Immunity :: Diplomatic

10. Sectioned :: That yellow and black crime tape (which I don't think we even have here in Aus, we have blue and white checked tape instead).

Well, so much for going to bed early...Family Guy is on next, one I haven't taped, and Mum's letting me do so.

But I've gotta get my ass to bed right after, and Mum needs to write an email, so I shall be off.

Goodnight all!
