Owww, My Knee...
Mar. 19th, 2012 11:31 pm11:04pm: Hmmmm, I should make an appointment with my podiatrist just check how my orthodics are going, because ow, usually my knee doesn't hurt after work. It's more my feet, but nope, definitely the knee today. I took a hot bath and it felt quite good while I was in there, but now that I'm out of it, its back to owies.
In exciting news, my uncle has passed my resume onto the HR department and they want to speak to me, hopefully to arrange an interview! If I get the job it'll be 22.5 hours a week! :OD The only downside would be that's across the week and Monday is important so it would require some shifting and possible leaving of the newsagency job, I hope if this one works out though I can still do both. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me people!
Right, I've put my knee brace on - I found it very quickly this time, LOL and now the knee feels much better. Ah, bracing. :O)
Hmmm not much else to report, a day dedicated to working for the Man and all, but it is Grandpa's birthday today! :O) Dad reminded me I should call him, which I did, he's brought an interesting gift, one of those motor scooter things old people use, although it's mostly for M who's having trouble walking distances these days. But he'll use it when he goes to collect and distribute the newspapers in the morning.
It's also the 80th Birthday of that Great Sydney Icon - the Harbour Bridge! Otherwise known as the Coathanger - I read the wikipedia article on it in celebration and fun fact! It's technically still legal to drive cattle over the Bridge between midnight and dawn providing you have a permit, LOL.
And that's all I have to say for today! Tomorrow I have to make the call to the HR person, do my ironing and of course go to the gym. My arm has recovered so that's good news too. :O)
