11:29pm: And I haven't got off to the best start as I haven't even got to 500 word yet let alone 1,667. But hey, you've got to make a start don't you?

I haven't exactly dived into NaNo because I've been fiddling with the new phone trying to figure out why the Wi-Fi won't work. I did go by one of those mobile phone repair shops on the way to work, but the man there said it sounded like a software problem and I'd have to take it to the Samsung people. There is a Samsung shop in the city, but I decided to troubleshoot it a bit, discovering I did need a firmware update for the phone. I'd got the mobile data to work so I decided to risk it and download the firmware update through it, but wouldn't you know it? It wouldn't work! Hmpf, however, apparently you can download a program that will do the update, but I had to wait until I got home.

And wouldn't you know it? I ended up getting home late, since I needed to go to Aldi and get some things for the lasagna, which took twice as long because I left my wallet at work, so I had to go back and get it. So yeah, I didn't get around to trying to get the program and the firmware until after 7pm and wouldn't you know it? The phone is being an ass about the whole thing and now I can't seem to get it to work. Grumble, grumble.

Oh well, the Samsung shop is open tomorrow, if I can't get it to work I'll pop by on my way to the parental units.

And now it's getting late and I'm tired, since I woke up at 3am this morning, I did manage to get back to sleep, but still I yawn!

I shall skip the memes for today and do a bit more NaNo before I head off to bed.
