11:33pm: Not me for once, it's my father, he's in a terrible mood! I'm not sure what's got on his case, something must have happened in the last week or something.

Anywho, I regret to say I certainly didn't make things any better, for some reason I had a bizarre brain explosion this afternoon when I came over to my parent's house (having picked Mum up in the city) and he was fiddling with the DVD player trying to get to a particular CD track. He seemed to be having a bit of trouble, but rather than ask if I could help I just snatched the remote out of his hand! OMFG! How stupid was that shit? He was totally pissed, because duh, how rude!

I honestly don't know what I was thinking...

So, Mum and I went to my Uncle Sam and Aunt Jo's for my cousin Mack's birthday party, it's hard to believe, but he's five years old! Cripes, makes me feel old!

I originally hadn't felt like going, but I decided to because it would be kinda awkard hanging around with Dad after pissing him off so majorly. But it was a good idea since Aunt Weed, Grandpa and M were there too and I haven't seen them in a while, so it was good to catch up.

Mack got some fun presents too, among the a magic kit (neat - I never had or new anyone with one of those) and from M and Grandpa this do it yourself mobile of the Solar System, I was most irate though to find Pluto wasn't on it, lame. Poor Pluto!

After hanging out there for an hour Mum and I headed to church, and luckily we didn't get caught behind the Spit Bridge, though we did on the way there. A week or so ago the Bridge went up and got caught, it was a total schmoozle let me tell you!

And now I'm here at the parentals, just hanging out downstairs with Mum watching the Tour de France - the pelaton, yay! :OD

It's almost midnight I'd hate to skip a day in my LJ keeping as you know, and I don't really feel like memeing right now, I'll get back to it.

For now though, I'll do a bit of fanficcing.

Goodnight to you all!

Right now I'm watching Extraordinary People on Discovery and they're showing the most flexiable guy in the world, he can practically fold himself up into a little ball and twist his arms all over the place, dislocate his shoulders and stuff. To someone like me, the most inflexiable person in the world, (seriously, a physiotherapist told me she's never seen any one with such tight muscles) it's hideously painful to watch. When I saw him doing some crazy shit my jaw hit the floor.

Right now they're showing this dude who can stand the most awful pain, he sticks needles through his arms and mouth with no pain! :Oo Who the fuck does this for fun? I mean like really why would you do that? I think I might change the channel, lest permanent damage be done to my jaw...which keeps dropping. Really, I'm also a huge wuss when it comes to pain, at least according to my father, I'm not so sure...I should go to this California Medical Centre for Pain and find out...Or maybe not, since the tests they do sounds like you'd hear me screaming from here! :Oo

Especially after today...my knee was in terrible pain, honestly, it ached...ached I tells you! I put my knee brace on, but no luck there, and by the time I realised I didn't have any paracentamol or Nurofen on me. Dang. It finally stopped hurting when I visited the Cemetery...hmm interesting that.

In other news this afternoon before Genre Writing I went to the Cemetery because today is my Grandmother's birthday. My father was going to go, but a friend of ours from church passed away last week and he went to his funeral instead. So, I offered to go in his place to wish Grandma a Happy Birthday.
Unfortunately, once agan my time management skills caused quite the problem, I went to Newtown first to set the tape for Temptation (the champ's playing for the lot you see, I didn't want to miss that) and my little bro was still there so I had to wait 'til he left before I could. And he didn't leave 'til like 4pm! And I had to wait for ten mintues for the train out to Sutherland (near the cemetery) and then the train was stuck in a station for like 10 minutes for some unknown reasons.

I finally got to the cemeetry, I was supposed to buy some flowers, but the bunches were all too big and expense so I just kind of picked some off bushes (ooh, shame on me!) and headed into the place.

Man, cemeterys are really quite nifty, although I really wouldn't want to live in any of the houses across the street from it, I mean imagine selling one of those places-Superb view of nearby cemetery, enjoy the mourners and headstones. Close to transport though. The problem was, it war really quite late in the day, I found the general area all right, but not the grave. I tried reading all the little plaques but there were hundreds of them and they weren't in any order, I even called my father to see if he could direct me. Alas no...and the sun was close to setting and my class would be starting soon, so finally I headed to the reception office, not really expecting it to be open.

It was it, but they had this little terminal thing that had all the people listed, and when I searched for my Grandmother a little number popped up, but the map didn't zoom right in, so I still thought, how the smeg do I find it! I then realised the number was on the corner of the plaque! So, that was easy, I found Grandma and Grandad in minutes and three other vases of flowers were there (looks like other family members had come by). So I paid my respects, but couldn't hang around, but I think Grandma apperciated it. :O) I also got to see the plaque (it wasn't there last time I went), so my work was done.

But MAAAN, some people have those understated plaques, but heaps and heaps of people have the most elaborate headstones and a lot have little frames with pictures of the deceased looking their best. I want one of those, so in 50 years people will walk by and see the photo of me in Albert the Tuxedo Dress and go. "Kewl!"

Although I found one that was a bit bizarre, it had a list of the persons great-grandchildren, yet the person in question died when they were 34...hence they never knew the grandchildren and vice-versa. The inscription was rather new though, so maybe they put up a new headstone or moved the guy.

But really those plaque ones are weird 'cause you have to walk on the graves themselves (they're not fenced in or anything like the ones with headstones), so yeah, it was really quite weird, proper etiquette you know.

Anyway, I'm back to the Extradionary People and they have this Malaysian Magnet dude! He can stick metal things to him and carriage huge weights..how does he do it? But hey that's weird! He's not magnetic at all! Like only regular metal will stick to him, not magnets. Heh heh, he's name is Mr. Lui and he's 70, and he's only had the gift for 10 years. Where'd it come from?!

And heh, this is rather cute, his grandkiddies can do it too! And alas the scientists could not figure it out...ah well.

Ah I wish I had some special skills...unfortunately not.

Anyways, I must move onto Memes o' the Day! )

Ooooh! Sir. Robert Winston is on again! Presenting Human Instinct: The Drive to Win, it's really funny, I should get a tape of this somehow...I wonder if it's avaliable at the library since the reception of the Discovery Channel here is utter shit.

And now I'm gonna watch it!

Good night!
