Spaaaace Quest

Anyway! the reason for trying to make this pun is because I discovered to my horror this morning that my little netbook's keyboard keys weren't working probably! Like I would press the 'p' key and 'i' and 'p' keys instead! And the spacebar wouldn't work properly and stuff like that. When I got to work (quite early indeed I can set the alarm later I think) I tried my best to clean the keyboard and I thought I'd fixed it, but then I noticed something...the spacebar key had stopped working all together. Like even when I took the physical key off and pressed the little button underneath still no space!
Suffice to say you can't use a computer that has no spacebar key! What a fuck up. I was thinking that I'd have to fork out to buy a new netbook (because whilst I could plug a USB keyboard in that would rather defeat the purpose i.e a laptop you can take everywhere) But I hunted around the net and discovered you can actually replace the whole keyboard and furthermore it's apparently not that hard. The latter is indeed true as when I got home from the gym tonight I followed the instructions and out it came.
Now I just need to buy a replacement keyboard, apparently there's one for sale in a suburb not far from where I live and you can go and pick up the part but I'll call tomorrow to find out how it works with payment and stuff. In the meantime, I guess I'll have to go netbookless, which is rather bad timing what with that stupid assignment being due next Monday. Ugh, gotta get onto that. At least it's short, but I hope I'll be able to do a decent job with it!
And time marches on so I better get myself to bed, you know I like my zzzs!
