anonymoose_auHmmm...I do believe I should just give up trying to get The Sims 2 to work on this comp, if it doesn't work on the laptop, that'll be a worry 'cause that would mean my Hill Valley neighbourhood is broken. :O(
But as my subject line says, my little bro is very interested in purchasing this computer, as it has all the features he wants, lots of RAM, hard drive space and the GeForce 3 graphics card.
As for the laptop from the big bro, originally he was going to have 1 Gig of RAM added to it, but seeing as it has a better graphics card I think I'll just leave it alone, I've learnt my lesson from the computer shop debancle!
In other news, I really must watch my language...yesterday in Writing Class I was talking about something and called it 'Gay'. Unfortunately, I think I really insulted a fellow class member, who gave me the eye for the rest of the class. So embarrassing! I tell you, M was right...be careful what you do with your language! Although incidentally had I used the term 'lame' it would have been quite all right...though I guess we don't refer to people with leg disabilities lame anymore (what do we call 'em? Can't remember.)
So...yeah...not much else to say, except I best get my ass to bed now because the sink hole is still there (in fact, it's swallowed up a first floor balcony! Caught on film...poor people lost all bedroom their furniture.) and is now been refered to as The Lane Cove Hole, which I find a highly amusing name. 'Cause it's a funny word...hole.
But anyway, the point is, with the hole there the traffic's gonna be shit tomorrow...I'm not quite sure why since the closed part of the road is the opposite way to the way I'm going, but it sucked this morning, so....
The biggest problem I can see is getting home, if the road is still closed it's going to take forEVER to go the long way around, it'll almost be quicker to walk, except it's supposed to be 32 degrees C tomorrow. No way am I walking through that!
That reminds me, I must get my radio looked at tomorrow morning, it was playing up today, like it was running out of juice, but I'm not sure it could have been interference.
As for Memes...well there's nothing goin' down, The Wednesday Mind Hump (dudes, doesn't hump have the connitations in the US as it has here in Aus? I guess not...) had some strange thing about making up your own questions, which I can't be arsed to do, and there's no Whisper on a Wednesday.
