It's The Voice Try & Understand It!

9:26 PM: Still trying to work this voice recognition stuff.
It would appear it has trouble with my accent or something. On the plus side I downloaded a program that lets me move the mouse with my voice, which is great as it was giving me the most trouble.
As I said my party was last night and I got some great books! They were a Doctor Who novel from Jia. A book on Psychology Theories and one on personal development (which might help me find a job)from Tina and chocolates from Ben.
But by far the award for mos ingenious presente would have to go to my arty friend, Zepur. It has to be seen to be believed!

It's a Captain John Dolly! Isn't it so cute! Zepur made it herself and it has to be the most adroable thing I've ever seen seriously! And she made it in just one day (yesterday!) and it came in a box with brown paper wrapping that said To Torchwood on the front and From the Agency on the back. Sadly they returned it, but their loss, LOL! A big thank you to Zep!
I also got gifts from my family over dinner tonight of lasagne (my favourite!). A big box of Cadbury assorted chocolates and $150 from my parents and brother, fifty bucks from my grandparents and a nice little green bag complete with beautify products from my Godmother Wendy! I really cleaned up.
I don't know what the fuck is on TV right now, but it's seriously creeping me out even with the sound down.

Blogging Tips
1. Six Blogging Tips that every blogger should know?
Don't use the word blog, it's sooooo passe!
Use it once and a while.
Pick a good name.
Talk about what you enjoy.
Don't use conflicting colours.
Take care to put in some decent punctuation at least.

:Call Me:
1. Who is someone that phones you routinely that you never seem to be up to talk to, but you are not ready to push them out of your life?
No-one I can think of.
2. What is something that effects you deeply, to your core, no matter your mood or what else is going on in your life?
Pachbel's Canon, fabulous music!
3. Tell us of something that relaxes you and always makes you happy.
Surfing the net!
4. If you could take the train from anywhere to anywhere, where would 'anywhere' be?
New York City!
5. If you could look into the future, how far down the road would you like to see? 10 years? 100 years? A million?
A million years sounds really interesting! To see the progress of humankind and all that. But then ten years sounds really good too...just to see where I am in life, not necessarily how I got there.
6. Did you do your shopping online for this Christmas, how did it go? Did things come in on time? Any significant failures? ...and if you didn't, will you consider trying online shopping sometime this year?
Nope, I did go to e-Bay, but that was to buy something for me. I might consider it this year, because even without shipping it's cheaper!
7. What people or projects are worth your time, money or effort?
Writing stuff and finding a job. People aren't projects!
8. Think back when you were in high school. Are you proud of the way you dressed, or do you wish you could go back and change it all.
Well as far as day to day school went we had uniform so it didn't matter thank God. Sometimes on school mufti days I'd feel a bit unfashionable, but fashionable stuff is so expensive and would have made me look like a ho anyway.
9. Do any of your friends, family or co-workers know about your blogs? For those that do, did you tell them or have they stumbled upon it by themselves?
Well my old co-work Terry from Berry knew, but I doubt he can remember the address and even if he did that he'd visit. A few of my friends know too, if you ever want to leave a comment, feel free!
Saturday Six
They all involve a common theme: that a stranger approaches you with a mysterious box. He opens the box to reveal a single red push-button and he offers you the chance to press it one single time.
1. From the scenario described above, would you press the button if the stranger claimed that you’d immediately receive $10 million, but a total stranger elsewhere would die: would you press the button?
Hell no! How do I even know he's telling the truth?!
2. What if the offer were increased to $50 million, but the catch was that someone you know personally — either family, a friend, a co-worker, or an acquaintance — would die, and you’d have no control of who it was: would you press the button?
Fuck no! What do you take me for?!
3. What if he told you that pushing the button would give you $10 million, but that an inmate on death row would die of natural causes: would you press the button?
No because the person mightn't be guilty and even so they may have avenues of appeal open that will commute the sentence to life imprisonment.
4. What if, in addition to the scenario in #2, he confirmed that the death row inmate had genuinely committed the crime of which he was convicted, so there was no chance of killing an “innocent” man: would you then press the button?
Ok, you've got me there...and that's kind of disturbing to me! O.o Although part of it, would be that at least whoever it was would be spared the electric chair. But the $10 million is tempting too, I won't lie.
5. What if, instead of any of those scenarios, the stranger said pressing the button would give you $1 million dollars and the knowledge of exactly what day and what time you would die: would you still press the button?
Hell no, because if I knew that I'd never be able to enjoy it because I'd know when I was about to die. And you can bet it'd be a short time after!
6. And what if, instead of any other scenario, the stranger told you that pressing the button would give you just $10,000, but that you’d also have a one-hour, one-on-one encounter with God, removing all doubt that He exists, but that you’d then have to live a life that reflected your newly-found knowledge. Would you press the button?
Sure why not! He might give me valuable insights on how to better the planet!
