10:03pm: Not much to report, except that those people are still filling up the recycling bins with non-recyclable stuff. Argh! This is the biggest pain in the ass...what's the point of having a Resident Manager if he won't get off his ass and fix issues like this? No wonder we're taking his ass to court.

In other news, I was wrong the other night about the Tour not been on, it was...the problem is the coverage always starts with a recap of the day before, and I've all ready seen that having watched the highlights show that's on at 6pm. And yeah, basically I have to go to bed before the real fun starts.

Although, there was some good pelaton action today. That's what we're here for people! :O)

Hmmm...work was busy today, there's finally interest in the boss's properties again, I guess all these interest rate rises and stuff have been putting off renters and whatnot. Things seem to be looking up a bit.

And good news! While I was away at my parents house my internet switch thing went through, I can now download 10Gb a month with no peak crap and if I do over download (I hope not!) I won't get charged extra, I'll get slow as molasses internet.

Anyway, bed time, but Memes first!

3x Thursday

Long Lost Friends

1. Do you ever have 'ghosts from the past' pop their heads in to say hi? Has it happened to you lately? If so, who was it? If not, is there anyone you wish you could find?

Well, about four years ago (geeze, I'm old now!) I ran into my first ever best friend, she was at my Uni taking the same class as I was. It was a huge coincidence! I spent like three classes sneaking looks in her direction trying to figure out if it was really her. Turned out it was! But alas, we never did reconnect...I heard her speaking to someone later on (yeah, I'm an evesdropper!) and she sounded like she was a completely different then before. Bummer...

2. What do you think of Facebook? If you're a Facebooker, have you had any contact with long lost friends of the past?

I do like to check out Facebook if only to see what old classmates and whatnot are getting up to these days. But nope haven't found any long-lost friends.

3. Pretty much everyone is easily found these days. Do you miss the days of not being able to be found, or do you welcome people finding you? Why/why not?

Well, I sure can't find out what happened to my first best friend since 2004, so I'd beg to differ with that assessment. Still, it is hard to hide these days, which can't be good if you're trying to get away from a bad situation. That's quite a worry really...

Booking Through Thursday

Doomsday

What would you do if, all of a sudden, your favorite source of books was unavailable?

Whether it’s a local book shop, your town library, or an internet shop … what would you do if, suddenly, they were out of business? Devastatingly, and with no warning? Where would you go for books instead? What would you do? If it was a local business you would try to help out the owners? Would you just calmly start buying from some other store? Visit the library in the next town instead? Would it be devastating? Or just a blip in your reading habit?

OMG! That's suck really hard! Although...I'm not too sure what my favourite bookshop is, I'm kinda staying away from buying books these days since I'm running out of room... But it'd suck really bad not to be able to walk to Kinokuniya and see what's going on.
But I guess I'd always have other libaries.

Thursday Threesome

::Filling Out Forms::

Onesome: Filling-- the ol' fuel tank is getting to be real interesting lately... What are gas prices doing in your area this Summer?

Well, it ain't Summer, but the petrol prices are definitely going up apparently by 17 cents in only three days! Seriously, what the Hell is that? There was also a bit of scandal today, with someone finding out that petrol pumps labled as "Out of Service" may not be broken after all...

Twosome: Out- and about and you're out of cash: the ATM or the store for a few bucks over on the check? Oh! ...and debit or credit? ...or are you a 'cash economy' person?

Huh? If there's a surcharge on a transaction I'd certainly try to find my bank-brand ATM, my family has quite the pathological hate for surcharges...Otherwise I'll use the credit option on my Debit Card, it's not actually credit, but it saves me from EFTPOS fees.
And these days I don't carry around much physical cash, because I'm always spending it without really realising it...bad move!

Threesome: Forms-- can be a real pain! Do you have a 'favorite' you dislike even to think about? (...and no, the income tax forms are 'exempt' from this question !)

Uh...I guess RTA forms are a pain in the ass, you've always got to get your licence out and write out the number etc. With hand writer as bad as mine, this is just painful!

Right, it's almost 10:30 and I don't want to fall behind on my sleep again after the headache issues and everything...so I shall bid you all goodnight.
