docsgirl and also inspired by the Christmas gift she wrote up for me :O)
A Partridge in a Pear Tree
“Look at this thing...what are we to do with it?”
The two of them looked up at the tree, which had seemingly appeared from nowhere as things often did in their world.
“Do you think this has something to do with the Creator up there?” The man pointed up at the sky, then looked up and frowned.
The woman sighed, and shrugged. “I bet it does..we hear of this sort of thing all the time. A piano here, a swimming pool there...”
“Well, I wouldn’t mind that, but a pear tree, what the Heck are we supposed to do with it?”
The woman looked thoughtful, then a smile spread across her face. “You know, I seem to recall a song...”
The man looked at her, uncertainly. “A song?”
“Yep,” she nodded, “wait here.”
And with that she hurried off to the side yard, where the couple had placed a rather odd, but fun ornament, yet another odd gift from the Creator.
Returning with it in her arms she asked him for a leg up, which he gave even though he still had no idea what she was up to.
“Hey, hurry up would you,” the man grunted after a few seconds. “You’re not as fit as you used to be.”
“Thanks a lot,” the woman sniffed. “There! You can put me down now.”
With great relief he did and she took his arm dragging him a few steps away so they could take in the sight...a flaming pink flamingo in the pear tree.
Well yeah, that was pretty lame, but whatever.
Monday's A Bitch

(Or happy irrelevant day off for those who don't celebrate it :))
1. How much money did gift giving cost you this season?
Oh man, I really cheaped out this Christmas...it must have been under sixty bucks for everyone.
2. Was getting ready for the holidays more fun, or more stressful this year?
Fun I'd say.
3. Were there any gifts that you were particularly proud to have put together this year? Which was your favourite?
Well, I thought the purchasing of Agatha Christie's biography for my father.
4. What's your favourite holiday food?
Hmmm...roast potatoes, yum!
5. If you were to be magically morphed into Santa's tenth reindeer, what would you want your reindeer name to be? Would you have any notable or quirky reindeer characteristics?
Moose, just to confuse everyone, LOL! And I'd be the odd reindeer who comes out with strange statements at any old time.

1. What is your favorite holiday memory from when you were a kid?
Waking up to find the stocking full of goodies at the end of the bed...ah those were the good old days! Although it did happen this year too, LOL!
2. What is the "naughtiest" thing you have ever done under a Christmas tree?
Err...nothing.
3. On a scale of 1-10, how "good" were you this year?
I'd say a 6, the absolute inability to clean my room and the tardiness in finding a job brought down the score.
4. How long have you been playing TMI? Regularly?
Oooh, about four months now, I think.
5. What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you this year?
Well that whole car thing was fucking humilating and cost me $200, the bastards.
Man, despite getting a good 10 hours or so of sleep I'm feeling reeeeeally tired and can barely keep my eyes open. I hope this isn't indicative of some sort of illness or lack of proper eating or something...
Eh, so yeah, Moose sleeps now.
