9:37pm: Now I've said this before, but I really need to get my ass to bed early tonight, for one thing I haven't been doing so the last few days and it's starting to impact on me and for another, I'm hoping if I do I'll be asleep by the time The Nation starts and the squeaking of the VCR as it records won't wake me up.
TMI Tuesday #93
1. Leather, lace or silk?
Errr...never really thought about it frankly.
2. Do you subscribe (or regularly buy) to any "dirty" magazines? Which ones?
Oh Hell no...don't just love how they put those on the shelves in service stations when any kid could have a good gawk?
3. Have you ever had sex in water (tub/pool/lake/ocean)?
No...apparently it'snot supposed to be very good for you.
4. The three words that best describe you in bed are sleeping, surrounded by pillows, and tossing.Three words that best describe your most recent partner in bed are ____, ____, and ____.
;OD I da funny.
5. Did you lose your virginity as an impetuous youth, "to prove that you loved" him/her, because of a romantic gesture, a newly wed or other (please describe because I can't think of what an "other" might be)?
I haven't! Geeze what is it with society? I'ms sure there are people over the age of 16 who haven't done the nasty?
Bonus (as in optional): Name three words that:
a) get you excited Books!
b) make you squirm The 'N' word
c) make you laugh Lake Titikaka (well, that's two...but whatever.)
Ten on Tuesday
10 of the Niciest Things People Have Ever Done For You
1. My big brother Micheal, sold me this laptop for $1,000, even though it must have been well over $3,000 when he brought it only a few years ago.
2. My little bro Chris brought me the Season 1 Box set of Futurama for Christmas even though I was flat broke and could only get him some Hair Gel and a box of chocolates.
3. My father got a favour from the school he was Principal at to get me an Olympic sized trampoline!
4. My Year 5 teacher arranged for me and my best friend to be put in the same Year 6 class as a special thank you for been such a good student...alas the family moved and this didn't happen, but it's the thought that counts.
5. M often gives me $50 to fill up the car with petrol, thanks M!
6. My parents who saved up for many, many years to take my brothers and me around the world on a big holiday! We saw so many places and experienced so many things! Best educational experience evah.
7. Grandma for just being there (she also made my bridesmaid dress for my Aunt's wedding.)
8. The friends for reaching out to me, since I suck at making friends myself.
9. My co-worker Terry for not making me pay back the $5 of his I accidentally lost when I went to buy everyone lunch.
10. My boss for giving me a second chance (and probably a third, fourth and fifth one, too!)
Tina's Tuesdays
Flavours
1. What is your favourite flavour of gum?
Don't really care for gum...but I do like that one that I can't remember the name of right now...it comes in a yellow packet though.
2. What is your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Chocolate! Yum!
3. What is your favourite flavour of of jelly?
Always loved the rasberry one, that's good eatin'.
Tuesday Twosome
What Would You Do
1. You witness a nonfatal car wreck, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on?
I've only seen one car crash of a non-fatal nature and at the time I was in the lane and couldn't stop because no-one else behind me was. Come to think of it someone could have been seriously injured and I never thought to dial '000'. Nasty.
2. You witness a robbery, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on?
Well, I'd hope I'd call the police quick smart! And hope the robbers don't do anything to the victim, once they left I'd go over and offer the victim some assistance.
3. You see a child who appears to be lost or hurt, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on?
You know I've never run into a lost kid before...I suppose I would stop, but I wouldn't call '000' unless they were in a bad way.
4. You hear a person yelling for help, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on?
Another thing that's never happened to me, I'd hope I'd stop and run in their direction which would probably chase off a robber and dial '000' on the way.
5. You see a fire in your neighborhood, do you help (stop and/or call 911) or continue on?
Hell man! I'd call the fire department! Don't know how close I'd be willing to go to it though...
Wednesday Mind Hump
Greetings, humpers. Today I'm going to ask you questions about that wonderful summer treat - Ice Cream!
Cone, waffle cone, or dish?
Ooh, a toughie...I'm gonna say dish, because then it comes with a spoon and I'm a rather sloppy eater, so I'm bound to get some on my face if I eat a cone.
What flavors (you get three scoops)?
Chocolate and vanilla, yum!
What toppings?
Ice Magic double yum!
Who are you going to share it with?
No-one! Buwahahahahaha, seriously though, if you ask nicely you can have some too.
Ah shit, I have 15 minutes to be asleep, hopefully I can manage that!
Good night all!
