Ugh What a Week...
May. 18th, 2007 08:48 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
8:00pm Well I'm glad that's over! It looks as if I'll be all right re: the car situation as my mother has agreed to let me take back the white Nissan, which she len to some friends of her's while they're away. I think I'll be able to collect it tomorrow. It's going to be a bit of adjustment driving it though, since it's quite a lot bigger than the Festiva, must be careful when I back up. I also have to remember to go by the service station tomorrow to get something really important out of the car.
Anyway, moving on a Fanfic Meme:
Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudocanon.
Original characters too although I guess that would be more canon?
Come on now, don't leave me hangin' here :OP

Hmmm...maybe I don't watch as much TV as I thought. 37 out of...er...all those. Although it didn't make us count show's we've watched parts of and so on. A lot of these shows I've watched the start or the end or the middle of while waiting for something else to come on.
Hey I've just realised tomorrow is Queen Charlotte's 263rd birthday! Hmmm, I should write on my George III story to celebrate...or do that assignment of mine which is seeking out info on George III for said story.
I saw my pyschiatrist today! He was most impressed to hear I have a new job and has even agreed to come in early so I can have my next appointment in the morning, since going at lunch time kind of takes up the whole day.
Also today was sucky in terms of my digestive system, my pyschiatrist is actually beginning to wonder if I might have some sort of food allergy, since most of the time it hurts without any accompanying problems. He's given me the details of this Immunology unit over at the Hospital which is practically next door to my place, I'll have to check in and see what that's all about.
Well, I better finish up this entry I've got to wash all my dirty dishes before the water in the sink goes cold.
So ta, ta for now!

FanFic Meme
Date: 2007-05-18 01:28 pm (UTC)Re: FanFic Meme
1. Doc's parents had him at an advanced age (into their 40s) so unfortunately they die when he's in his 20s.
2. Doc once worked at NASA on the team that sent one of the Voyager probes on its journey past Mars.
3. Doc enjoys dancing to jazz in his spare time (OK I just made that up this second, but I like the idea! :OD)
no subject
Date: 2007-05-18 07:16 pm (UTC)Double the Fun for my favourite character!
1. For some reason I always saw George as a child who only lived with one parent (at least at first), so for some years it was just him and his father. And since I made up this back story before reading the BTTF Novelisation I called his father Max (instead of Aurthur...that's his middle name), and I ain't changing it! :OP
2. George hasn't always lived in Hill Valley, though he was born there he and his father moved to Oregon for a few years before returning - no wonder he has no friends!
3. OK I'll admit to total projection of myself onto the character here, but I thought it would be really great to have George also have a big long world type trip in his youth (along with his father of course). All the research into late 1940s aviation and what not was well worth it!
4. George is an only child, but his father is one of 7 children (those Irish!) he has quite a few cousins, 4 of them down in Los Angeles.
5. There's a big McFly family secret to do with George (one of the reasons he and his father moved away)- this sounds so soap opera-ish, but I love the story, so I've kept it part of George's pseudocanon despite this.
6. By 1955 George's has a step-mother and step-siblings (otherwise where'd that bra he was holding when he was hanging out the laundry, LOL!).
Hmmm...some of those are vague, but I haven't actually told the story of the events yet and I don't wanna spoil them!
