anonymoose_auHave I been mislead by my own mind all these years? I'm watching this Law & Order and it looks like it was Jack McCoy who told a possible rape victim she shouldn't care about been forced to have sex with someone because she's a prostitute!
I have always thought it was the original lawyer on the series who did that, Ben Stone, which you know, led me to kind of hate his guts for being such an asshole.
Maybe they both did it...
Jack, how could you? I am deeply shocked by such a thing. I mean I suppose he was doing it to get a reaction out of the witness, but fuck, dude, that's the most misyognistic statement I've ever heard. If nothing else we all have the right to refuse to have sex, even if it's something you've done a hundred times. That was the old idea that let men rape their wives because she was his 'property' and the poor treatment of any woman who wasn't a virgin because 'Hey, if she's done it once, who cares?"
