9:48pm: I was at work today doing the Hospital files, they're so interesting! Although today I saw this guy who was called, in all seriousiness Frederick Fredericson, pft! Wow, hope his parents didn't hurt themselves coming up with that one.

OK, it's probably not that funny, but when you're doing nothing put pulling out staples and rotating pages the simplest things are funny. :OP

NaNo is going well, I'm almost up to 5,000 words, that's 10% isn't it? Go me.

Yep it is.

Tomorrow is the appointment with the Pyschiartrist, I'm supposed to tell him what jobs I've applied too, and fuck me I've hardly applied to any, and the ones I have to I haven't got so much as a phone call or a note back saying "Thanks but no thanks" Dad brought up a rather disturbing posibility that somehow they're finding out I've applied to heaps and heaps of other jobs and left one and been fired from another and basically, they're not touching me with a ten foot pole. Either that or they've found my LJ, if the latter's true I am so stuffed, my friends, in facts words coud not describe how stuffed I'd be. They shouldn't be able to find it though because it's not on any Search Engine.

Anywho right now I'm watching a show about Sleep Walkers...yikes, this guy killed his girlfriend apparently while he was sleeping! If that's true how shit would you feel? I mean you'd want to kill yourself when you woke up and realised it wouldn't you?

Apparently, I used to or maybe still do Sleep-talk, which is unsurprising and rather fitting for chatty me :OP But I haven't seemed to have done so, maybe since Dad accidentally tripped over my head when I was sleeping in my parents room. I can't believe he didn't even look me over carefully, he could have killed me outright! (OK, probably not, but I could have been concussed.)

Well, I'm distracted today and tired because Dad woke me up early coming in here (I'm still at my parents house) to look for his glasses, which have totally disappeared. Lucky for him he's got spare ones, I don't actually, so if I lose mine I'm stuffed because I can't see anything.

Right, I'm going waay off topic here, so I'm gonna Meme and go to bed:

Thursday 3x

Boys and Girls and Fashion

1. Are you in to clothes and fashion? Does it matter to you? Why/why not?

Hells no, because I'm a cheapskate and clothes are so expensive, plus most of the time it looks like crap with frills and shit. Bah!

2. Girls: Do you wear heels? Why/why not? Are they comfortable? Guys: What's your take on dressing up in suits and ties?

I can't wear stiletto heels because my feet roll out, I once put on a half-inch pair of stilettos, took one step and almost sprained my ankled! Regular heels are OK, but not for an extended period. Plus, wearing heels for long amounts of time is so bad for your back it's not funny. Women should cut back on wearing them as much as possible.

3. What do you think of these people today who wear their jeans on their asses? You know, boxers sticking 3/4 of the way out...wearing a 40 waist when it should be a 32. Do you think it's becoming? Do you care? Why/why not?

Oh man, that looks so bad! Not to mention uncomfortable as Hell, I mean I don't understand how they don't just trip over, and how they stay up when they run. Although I probably wouldn't go so far as to ban them like this town did in Viriginia (or was it West Virginia?), that's probably going too far.

Bonus Question for Comments: Do you like to get dressed up? Why/why not?

Now, oddly enough, despite my dislike of normal everday fashion there's nothing I like more than getting into a formal dress, such as Albert, often I go into Formal Dress Shops to see what's new. It must be said though, nothing compares to Albert. :O)

Booking Through Thursday

NaNoWriMo

1. Yesterday, November 1st, began the annual NaNoWriMo challenge--where lots of marginally crazy people try to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. What do you think about that idea? Crazy? Inspired? Challenging?

I think it's a great idea for aspiring writers, I for one have developed a rather dispressing habit of not writing my stories through out the year (they bounce around in my head instead), this is just what I need to get off my ass!

2. Would you/Have you tried it yourself? In other years? (Or this one, in which case, shouldn't you be writing and not reading blogs?)

I'm doing it! :O) In fact this is my third year doing it, I was first tipped off to it by [livejournal.com profile] timewanderer back in 2004, which involved me making a maaad dash to get the 50,000 words in like two weeks, I managed it though, so phew! 2005 was a bit easier, but I still haven't finished 30 Years is a Long Time To Wait, and I've put it on the backberner in favour of another tale. Ah well.

3. If you took away the time pressure, would you/have you tried writing a novel of your own?

Yep, the problem is I like to write looong sweeping stories, in the old days I could never finish a story, I still can't but now I don't give up on them 'til I'm up to page 500 (I kid you not in one case...). Also I write fanfic, which alas except for very special circumstances can never be published! Ironically, my story of George III could be published without so much as a 'by your leave' from the Royal Family. Muhahahaha!

Thursday Threesome

::Off to see the wizard::

Onesome: Off-- to do something productive? What are your spare time hobbies? ...or do you have a life ?

Well, I'm doing NaNo at the moment, so I really should be writing, but I'm doing OK at the moment, and I didn't get much time to think at work, because you still have to concentrate on the papers and whatnot. For my spare time hobbies I like to surf the net and play Sims 2, also chat on AIM. I have entirely too much free time at the mo, sooo, I'm doing all that way too much!

Twosome: to see-- beyond the horizon? Where would you like to take your hypothetical 'unlimited' vacation?

Sniff! My father had the greatest idea last night, but I don't think my mother will go for it. Next year the parental units are going away for many months, and I'm worried because I'm a wuss and get homesick (read: seperation anxiety or something). Dad suggested it might be a good idea for me to come with them (I have enough money for a plane ticket) and get a working Visa in England. That way I could work, gain some experience and earn English pounds! Plus I could visit Windsor Castle and the British Library and find out all sorts of things! Frankly, I think it sounds great! But, I have my doubts...But still that would be cool, they might still have that special exhibit about George III going on and I can go see it and get my picture taken with the wax representation of him. Also, I could go to New York and see my friend, [livejournal.com profile] bookscorpion, good times, good times.

Threesome: the Wizard-- There's always (or should be) a fix-it wizard around the place; do you have one you can call on to take care of those minor repairs that crop up? ...or are you "it"?

Uh...I guess my father would be that, my attempts to repair or fix things have often ended in disaster, I almost broke my VCR trying to get a tape out with the help of gravity and a knife (don't worry I unplugged it!). I do know what to do if a fuse blows in the house though, so that's a plus. Still...

In other news what do you think of this John Kerry thing? Frankly he's got a point, the Army routinely goes after people who aren't doing well in school or who aren't interested in going to school. That doesn't mean that they're dumb though, so he probably deserves the comments he got. But seriously though, I heard the creepiest things about the US Army, like they go after people and call them up and try to get them to join, that would creep me the Hell out. At least over here they just put adds in the paper.

Oh well, Looks like John Kerry will go the way of Mark Latham over here, promising, but then they put their foot in it and its bye-bye, Kerry doesn't have quite the potty mouth Mark Latham did though.

Meanwhile, we're all gonna die of thirst here in Australia unless we do something...it's time to bring out the water recycling, I hear it's quite safe and I'm game, bring it on!

And that's all I have to say tonight. Goodnight!
