Argh! Itchy! }:O(
Anyway, the Meme.

Plays, Theatres and Concerts
1. How do you find out which performances are in town and at which venue?
It's ironic that this question is been asked, since I really don't like attending plays, I get concert nerves and many of the plays I go to a shit. Usually M brings up plays we can go to etc. M likes her plays, she has season tickets.
2. How do you buy your tickets (i.e. online, box office, eBay)?
M gets them at the beginning of the season, I don't know whether they were sent through the mail, or she had to pick them up or what. But yeah...from the official channels, no eBay for us!
3. Do you have copies of seating charts you refer to or just accept what's offered?
I take what's offered since I usually don't buy them myself...although if I did buy something I'd probably consult a seating chart, although I really wouldn't want to spend too much money so I'd probably just get an OK seat towards the middle. Being right on the edge is a pain.
4. Which is most important: seating location or hearing the music live?
I find they play music much too loud at these things, so you can hear it from everywhere, but that aside I'd much rather see the band, because you can listen to the music on the CDs but you can't see the band live from home.
5. Which venue, if any, do you absolutely refuse to see a performance at?
Well, after the monotony and craphouse performance that was The Chairs I never want to go to the Belvoir Theatre again, there went two hours of my life I'll never get back!
6. Do you dine at the venue or eat prior to the performance and why?
Because of the concert nerves I can't really eat before going to a performance...but usually we eat before we go, it's cheaper and not as crowded.
7. Do you attend performances with certain folks only?
Nope...
8. Which items are standard accessories/must haves for any performance?
My backpack, I always like to have my backpack with me, it's my security blanket, I've even taken to bringing along the Catbus for moral support. Doesn't really work with the nerves I fear.
9. Do you buy merchandise/souvenirs?
Yes, although they're so expensive it all ready takes a lot out of my bank account!
10. What's the most you ever spent for a ticket (one ticket) and which performance? Was it worth it and why?
Dunno, I've never actually brought the tickets, I've got them presents or pro bono so I can't really say how much they were, I'd guess though the tickets to The Beach Boys concert.
11. How far will you drive for that performance you just can't miss?
Er...not very far at all. Like I said I don't really like going to performances...but if The Corrs come back I'll go see 'em in Sydney...but I'm not the sort who'll go a hundred kms to see someone.
This above Meme reminds me of the fact that my mother is insisting I go to this stupid play next week at the Opera House with my brother. She's under the impression that I'll really enjoy it, but I really don't want to go. Primarily because I had to see that crapshot play The Chairs and it was really stupid and a big waste of time! Also, the concert nerves make going to a concert I don't really want to go to more of a torture run than a fun experience.
I'm trying to convince her to make my older brother go, I'm certain he'll enjoy it...why should I have to go to TWO plays I don't want to go to, what's with that?
Well...the assignment has gone nowhere today...I've found good information but I can't think clearly enough to write it down.
Oh yeah, and thess quizzies! :O)
Hell yeah! Sloth is my thing dudes!
Once again Catholicism is been treated as being a completely different thing! What's the deal with that?! We believe in Jesus, we read the Bible, we go to Church...so we've got a Pope. I don't see why that would make us so different...I tell you it's weird!
But I've just finished watching the Pat Rafter interview on Enough Rope which is cool, although my tape appears to be chewed or something, not so good...
Anyway...I give up on today and I'm going to lie down some more.
Anyway, the Meme.
