For some reason I just wanted to do these...
Heh heh! My favourite Anime Character revealed!
Books, glorious books!
Bah, that was pretty useless...
Hmmm...what else? Oh yeah, so it rains today but of course none reaches the Catchment areat! Jeeze oh man, we have to move those things or give everyone one of those big rainwater tanks, I mean this bites! It wasn't just pissy rain today either...you could have got a good bucket of water out of it for sure.
Hmmm the new Pope definitely won't be accepting homosexuals, damnit! So annoying :O( I mean I hardly think the part of the Bible that so cruelly condemns it can be taken seriously! It also states for that if you eat a pig or any of the other forbidden food you're going to Hell (if so, I'm going there! :O0)
And yes there's the whole, women who mensturate are unclean, you can sell your daughter into slavery, chop of a man's hand if he steals from you, marry your brother's widow if he hasn't got a son.
C'mon Pope Benedict, you don't think all those rules might be a little...on the 'Man' side...I mean Christians don't believe (unlike Muslims) that the Bible is written directly from God, so some of it can surely be tested for suspicion and stuff.
After all, remember the most important commandment of Jesus!
"I give you a new commandment, Love Others as I Have Loved You!"
There's no room for telling people in loving relationships "Hey, hey! That's not right!" I don't think Jesus would make that distinction. And remember in the old days homosexuality was linked to having sex with young boys at parties or something...you know the whole Greek Bath thing. But yes it's different now, plently of homosexual person have been in stable and nuturing relationships for DECADES! They're obvious not in it for the 'sex' or something...Hmpf!
As pointed out by the news today, there were three votes prior to the election of our new Pope, I wonder who the other Cardinals were who almost got there...prehaps a not so conservative dude?
The sad thing is that I'm pretty sure old Pope Benedict is doing what he believes is best and such, but I don't know, I don't think people should accept the Bible at face value. It is 2000 years old!
It is exciting to see all the happiness with the new Pope and all, and it does suck not having a Pope, but gee I wish they'd gone for the liberal dude...
In other news it looks like Cardinal Pell (our Cardinal here) might get a promotion...which might mean he moves away! Hmmm...I wonder if that means we get can get a new Archbishop! To be frank Cardinal Pell is also a conservative nut! He refused to give communion to people who wore a rainbow sash (a symbol of the homosexual movement), hmpf!
So yeah...that's my piece!
Except of course the whole China thing, they just called up the Vatican so to speak, and asked them to denounce Tiawan! After kicking up that fuss about the Japanese Textbook (which IS pretty bad, glossing over war time atrocities), Pot calling the Kettle Black! Leave Tiawan alone China! I don't know why they want it, it's just a little island... Poor Tiawan!
Hmmm...well...that's all I have to say right now...
PS. Mr John Howard, your statement to the Japanese parliment ("All countries should be forthcoming about the dark parts in their history") re: The History Book Issue is extremely insulting to the Aboriginal People you refuse to apologise to! Is there no end to that man's hypocriasy?! Wanker!
