10:20pm: Tonight Li'l Lleyton Hewitt begins his last ever Australian Open - it's his 20th appearance at the place and this is also his last ever tournament before he retires from professional tennis.
Last year he bowed out in the first round, but things are looking better this time! Lleyton's 2 sets to 0 right now, but they're even in this set so it could go either way. And I have to go to bed soon. Not sure if that'll be good luck or not :OP I went to bed before The Bag finished last night, but alas, he lost. And I'll never forget going to bed when Pat Rafter was going really well but finding out the next day he lost. :O( Or maybe I did because I'm not entirely sure if it was him...it was someone at any rate. LOL.
But OMG stuff is happening...Lletyon's close to getting the Match Point. Do we dare to dream?
Funny thing about this game...Li'l Lleyton's up against another Aussie, and this Aussie must be a big fan because they're both wearing very similar outfits to the extent that they even have white baseball caps on backwards! LOL. The other Aussie is called Duckworth, which is a funny name...
AND OMG AS I WAS TYPING THAT LLETYON WON THE MATCH! Whoot! One more match, one more match!
Yeah, show them young'ins! That's Plushy's mantra too I think, LOL ;O)
And now I can go to bed without having to worry, LOL! And...random shot of man running down the corridor of the stadium...what the...?
Anyway, moving on, I'm wondering what to do with my nurses watch which stopped working yesterday, I was trying to open it this morning to put new battery in because like I said they charge something outrageous to open watches, but alas it's impossible. However, while I was doing that it started working again, so...I don't get it. I wonder if it'll still be going tomorrow...I'll have to check and see.
What else? Well today didn't go entirely as planned, I decided to skip the gym, which turned out to be a good thing because I headed up having to help Mrs S at around 1pm. We had to go to the doctor at the Grand and who should be there? M! And Grandpa was in the shopping centre waiting for her, so I got to see them both! :O) Although alas I'd all ready eaten, so I didn't buy fish and chips, I did though get to have some chips, hee.
However! Making an appointment to see the doctor did not work out as hoped, in fact I think I may have ended up waiting just as long to get in then when I showed up with no appointment! Although, lucky for me I didn't do that, because there were no spots left at all today. However, I was pretty worried because you get 3 hours free parking and I was getting really close to that. In the end I did actually go over the three hours, but there was something wrong with my ticket so the guy just let me out. Phew. :OP
After that I went home, but I ended up having to go back out again because it's quite warm today and it's going to be even hotter tomorrow and my laptop has been overheating horribly lately so I went and bought this cooling fan thing which is working quite well, the temperature of my CPUs has gone down 20 degrees at least! Although I should probably still check the fan outputs, I think they might be dusty.
Oh and I remembered to buy my shredded cheese and whatnot - actually I bought it before going to the doctor's, the air conditioning is good in the shopping centre though it was still cool when I got home.
I should wrap this up since I'm working on going to bed at the proper hour. Keep myself alert and all that.
Oh and suffice to say I did get the referral and they were nice enough to fax it the pyschiatrist so I should be getting some of my money reimbursed soon.
And now, off I go! Goodnight all!
