Mmm Toasty!

11:03pm: I'm happy to report that I got a nice new working heater today! It's a ceramic tower one, I don't actually know what's the difference between it and a convention heater or an oil heater, but the point is the room I'm in is now nice and warm. Although...I probably shouldn't use it too much, least it cause the electricity bill to go through the roof. Having said that, I'm running it at 1000 watts while the little fan heater I was using before uses 2000 watts, so I should be using less right?

I felt a little bad though...because I was originally going to make the purchase at Bing Lee and the nice sales person there even explained heaters and my options to me, but in the end I went and bought one at Bunnings. Mostly because the ones at Bing Lee were either quite expensive or not that attractive to look at - like old timey bar-heaters that light up in front. Bunnings on the other hand had a tower (or column) heater as I said and it was marked down from like $80 to $50, nice.

It's got a thermostat and a remote control to go with it, so that's pretty fab! I've plugged it into the timer so we'll see how it goes tomorrow morning, fingers crossed!

Now, I did get enough zzzs last night, but I also went to bed before 11:15, so I better do that now! Making this a rather short entry, sorry about that.
