Good Friday...Good Money!
Apr. 3rd, 2015 11:56 pm11:31pm: A somewhat inappropriate heading probably...but it is true! $72.62 per hour! O.o I feel kind of bad to be honest, I didn't even have to travel all that far to get there or anything like that.
As I was leaving Mrs S I saw something quite surprising, there was a police car and a police man and woman talking to a couple of people...who had managed to somehow drive there car across the big strip of park that runs down the centre of the street and knocked down part of the wooden fence. The car had an L plate, so it looks like a learner driver out for a quiet morning accidentally mixed up the break and accelerator! Although how did the police end up there. Maybe they were joy riding or something and one of the people living on th street called them.
Either way, not a great way to start your long weekend! On a Double Demerit points long weekend too.
Anyway, nothing else much to report on, although it rained on and off all day long, though I still did my laundry, which is hanging up in the flat now, because of that, I hope they dry sooner rather than later.
I also went to 3pm Mass at the local church here, I'm not used to going to that one, it's really long because it involves the retelling of the Passion and venerating the cross and so on.
What else...well...I didn't eat meat today, but alas I had some chocolate, so that was a bit of a fail. You can only do your best!
Oh, and obviously I didnt end up going ice skating, I woke up with a headache and that along with the weather put me off - although the headache was gone by the time I got to Mrs S's so that's not really an excuse.
Now, I see it's almost midnight and should wrap this up, doesn't seem the memes are up yet, so that's a bonus.
