Zero Hour...
Mar. 20th, 2015 11:14 pm10:10pm: Yes indeed, in 12 hours 10 minutes the parental units will be taking off and heading to Perth to begin their big adventure. I hope they have fun! Although I just realised I forgot to tell Mum that Mrs S wished them Bon Voyage. I did tell Dad though, so maybe he can pass it on...
However, there was great embarrassment when Mum dropped me off, because she needed her friend in the main house to witnesse the signing the Power of Attorney forms, but unfortunately they decided to do it up here in my flat, which is still messy. I have been lazy, but I'm not sure being told off by Mum's friend was called for. I mean...it is my flat and I do pay the rent on time. I suppose I deserve it...but still having a person not related to me judging me on my housekeeping - or even the lack there of, is a bit confronting. Not to mention Mum and I struck a deal that I'd have the place all nice and clean so that her friend can come up and visit. To be honest, I don't really enjoy having long conversations with her, because they usually end up with her giving me advice that I don't intend or what to follow.
I suppose that's what I get for not keeping tidy!
Oh and the internet is back (obviously) but it's slow as Hell again. I can't see why, according to the program I've got we've used 35gB out of the 50gBs we get per month - at least that was the amount N said we had. I was going to ask today, but was busy so I didn't get a chance to. It'll have to wait til tomorrow now.
Anyway on that note I will do the Memes:

Spring
What new book would make you spring out of your chair and run to the bookstore? (Or library, or nearest computer screen, depending on your book-delivery-method of choice.) Ooo, well...a while back it would have been a new Adrian Mole book, but sadly the author Sue Townsend died a few years ago, so there's no chance of that. Although she was apparently working on a new Adrian Mole novel so maybe one day I'll find out what was in it.
So...I'd have to say if a new Harry Potter book showed up I'd be all over that!
Hmm, or rather meme, the Friday people haven't put theirs up yet!
Anyway, this entry has dragged on for a long time, primarily because I'm distracted by other things, such as the book I'm reading on my Kindle and the loudness of the wind outside. I wonder what I'm going to wear tomorrow night for my friends birthday party - I don't want to be cold, but at the same time I don't want to end up overheated. Decisions...decisions.
And I've also just discovered that somehow I pressed record for the wrong show, so I didn't get Million Dollar Minute, so I have to hope the internet will be good enough to let me watch it online. I wanna know what went down!
Right, I'm sleepy now, so I shall wrap this up and get ready to hit the hay.
Wish me luck tomorrow! Goodnight all!
