Internet Remains Sluggish As Hell

11:25pm: Although it's not just me, N down at the main house is having problems too. The only mystery is whether it's the modem (we've got a new router, but the modem is the same one as before) - which N seems to thing is so or if we've somehow gone over our bandwidth and the service is being throttled like an ass. All things considered, I'd much rather deal with a throttled internet than a bill in the hundreds of dollars! It was only a few months ago that I had to fork over $50 extra for my mobile phone bill. I sure as Hell can't afford something like that!

N all ready called to complain about the slow speed, but he's going to ring up tomorrow to complain again and also (if he remembers) to ask if we're being throttled - Mum's friend is away and she has the information to log on to the ISP website and check that stuff out. Hopefully, we'll find out one way or another.

In other news, I forgot to call up the library to ask if I should come in this week - whoops! I'll do so tomorrow morning. I also forgot to actually do any job hunting, shiiit. I gotta find something, apart from anything else, I'd really rather not go to that three day workshop about resume writing and shit. I've all ready been to one of those, and it's done shit. I suppose there could be new stuff, but I don't know... My problem seems to be a lack of jobs, more than my resume or cover letters being lacking. I should probably ring those Kincare people, they did say they'd get back to me in January.

Aaand once again, I've left updating a little late so there's no time for me to Meme! Oh well...tomorrow is another day!
