What?! How Was I Supposed To Know That?!

After an entire month of having no access any free-to-air channels - which sucked to Hell during the Australian Open where I couldn't watch any of the matches, or watch Homes Under the Hammer on 7Two - I idly typed in my problem into Google and happen to discover why I haven't been able to get any of those channels except SBS and TVS (public access TV).
It turns out if you plug a cable box and a regular broadcast Blu-ray player and try to find the free-to-air channels on the latter something about the cable arrangement will cause the Blu-ray to only be able to pick up those two particular channels. You have to unplug the cable from the Foxtel Box then scan for channels on the blu-ray. Which I just did.
And it WORKED! Thank God because renting out thr apartment without the basic channels woukd have been awkward.
However, what the fuck? If I hadn't been bored and just throwing the search query out there I never would have figured that out! And I don't seem to remember having that problem before...maybe co-incidentally the cable to the Foxtel box fell out when I set up the Blu-ray first time around, I can't remember. But seriously how much does that not make sense?
Bloody technology.
Anyway I went to the doctor's about my nose this morning and also because my stomach was still being an ass. I felt so nauseous that I had trouble walking towards the medical centre and went to the park behind the parentals house to sit on a bench and try to settle it. Eventually it calmed down a bit, but I still ended up catching the but for less than an kilometre just for that.
The Doc didn't have much to say about my stomach issues, but he checked my nose and said I had an infection up there and after I told him about a few other symptoms he said I probably had a sinus infection in general so he prescribed me some antibiotics along with nose cream. Also since my allergies are acting up so much lately he also prescribed this nasal spray for that too. Man...good thing I didn't have to pay for the appointment since all those prescriptions cost me like $63, man they better work.
After the doctor's I managed to get myself back to the apartment where I commenced the big clean up so I could take photos of the apartment to put up on Gumtree because the ones I have are too old. This involved a fair amount of rearranging because I've put quite a few things in boxes, but I have nowhere to put said boxes so instead I just moved them out of camera shot, LOL, sneaky!
Alas I sent them to Mum to preview and she asked me to retake them, bah...I said I would and I guess I should, but not until tomorrow.
Speaking of which I should be heading to bed, as soon as The Michael J. Fox show ends. This is a good show, I like it, I hope it gets a second season!
