Happy Chri-Easter!
Apr. 8th, 2012 11:34 pm11:16pm: The above subject line is because I kept accidentally wishing people a 'Happy Christmas' instead of a 'Happy Easter' man, I'm too young to have mind problems LOL. What's with that? Is that the normal sort of issue for people under 30 to have? I hope so!
I'm here at the apartment again, I got the bus from here to Neutral Bay for church well in time (I do love that transport app I got on my phone!) although Mum had to pick me so I could go home and change into a better shirt and some sandals, as well as to get Dad, who shockingly was running late if only because he thought mass started later that it did. Mum didn't join us because she went to Easter mass at the church she works at last night, plus she had to go to there to serve morning tea.
It was a very good church service, the priest was an funny chap and almost accidentally asked us if we 'renounced Jesus' during the Renewal of Bapitsmal promises, oh dear! LOL. I was in charge of the power point as usual, and it went quite well, although we started a few minutes late because we arrived a bit late.
That aside it was a most fun Easter Day with a family lunch with Mum, Dad, M and Grandpa and later on Uncle Sam and Jo and my cousin Mack came over as well for afternoon tea. There was quite a few eggs to go around although I didn't eat my usual huge amount :OP I'm going to savour them this year, at least that's my plan, we'll see how it goes, shall we? :O)
Anyway, the assignments continue onwards, I've got just 24 hours to finish them up now, I might have to resign myself to my usual MO these days, just going for a passing grade rather than anything higher. Overachiever I am not!
Oh and before I head off, we heard from my big bro today, he called from Japan to wish us a Happy Easter. It was good to hear from him alhtough I didn't speak to him for very long, although he congratulated me on my new job. :O) Not sure when we'll hear from him again, but hopefully sooner rather than later.
And now, I better head off, those assignments won't write themselves unfortunately.
