anonymoose_au: (Do the Nerd Dance!)
11:05pm: I'm afraid so! I don't understand why my alarm apparently didn't go off - or if it did, I don't remember turning it off and lying back down, but by the time I woke up fully it was after 11am! My mother stayed home today but apparently didn't know I had, since she rang me on my mobile.

Anywho, it was too late to go to my volunteer job, that was for sure...although I didn't think they were expecting me, but apparently they were...whoops. But on the plus side I can now drop off my application for a job that's going there in person. Since there's a sheet you have to sign this avoids messing around with scanners and so forth.

Anywho with this in mind, I better Meme and run!

Thursday Thunks

:Drawing in the Sand:

The TT questions are brought to you by Bud, the color of Janera Jepson's eyes and the number 3.

1. We know how creative Berleen is with her terrific tee-shirts and such, so how about you? Do you draw anything or perhaps your name in the sand when you go to the beach?

I do! I love to draw, although I'm not particularly good at it...though and don't do it as much as I used to. I have written my name in the sand at the beach though.

2. Kimber doesn’t always leave her house. I wonder if she knows what is out her back door. What is out your back door?

The courtyard, which looks rather nice with the decking and the water feature we've got out there now.
At my apartment there's not really a back door, but there's a glass door onto the balcony, which you can hardly fit out onto.

3. Do you prefer the beach, a pool or a lake? Why?

A pool, I got caught in a rift and the lifeguard had to come and rescue me, and since then I've been freaked out about beaches. Lakes...er...not a fan.

4. What is something recently that happened to you that you are REALLY excited about?

Hmmm...gee...I don't know...I'm afraid I haven't got anything tht exciting going on.

5. I am fortunate that I come from a very close family. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? If not did you ever meet them?

Alas, not anymore, but until about 2002 or so, my paternal great-grandmother was alive, she was pretty active until the last couple of years. Sadly I didn't ask her much about her life and stuff that would have been interesting.

6. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group? Tell us about it.

Not for a very long time...thank GOD! I have terrible stage fright!

7. Have you ever bungee jumped? Would you ever bungee jump?

Hell no. And fuck no.

8. How strong emotionally do you think you are?

Um...probably in the middle I guess.

9. Kimber and Berleen still have NEVER met, yet they are best friends. What is the first thing you notice about people when you meet them?

Hmmm...dunno really...probably what they're wearing I guess.

10. Who do you mess with the most?

Er...myself, LOL.

11. Who was the last person you talked to on a landline?

The supervisor at the library.

12. I finally saw Avatar this week. What was the last movie you watched long after it came out and loved?

Probably most of the ones I've seen, LOL! Especially Back to the Future. best movies evah!

13. What did you dream about last night?

I can't remember now.

Booking Through Thursday

Beach Buddies

Which fictional character (or group of characters) would you like to spend a day at the beach with? Why would he/she/they make good beach buddies?

LOL the people from Sweet Valley, because they're all about the beach! Although the mindless gossip would probabl get boring...plus they'd probably bag out my glasses.

Actually what would be hilarious would be Hercule Poirot! He'd absolutely hate the beach, but it'd be hilarious to have him there. We could discuss the little gray cells.

3x Thursday

Mawage

1. What are your thoughts on marriage? If you’re married, does your marriage work well? If you’re not married, what would be the most important thing to you to make it work?

I'm not married, but I think it's a good thing, romantic and what not. As for the most important thing compromise!

2. What do you think about religious ceremonies and one of the requirements being that you have to go to counseling or ‘marriage classes’. Do you think that’s a good idea, or do you think it’s a load of crap? Why/why not?

That's a good idea! Because they do teach you stuff that you can use.

3. Are you the type of person that could/would go through multiple marriages, or are you a one-timer kind of person?

As a Catholic I don't have much of an option! :OP But in all seriously...no I would only want to be married once.

Man it's almost midnight, I better get my arse to bed now!

Goodnight all!
