Say what?!
Mar. 18th, 2009 11:04 pm10:41pm: So today there was this vote in the Senate about a tax for Alco-pops (the sweet, sugary alcoholic drinks) and one of the opposition members was late, so it passed! But then he showed up and said "Oh sorry." So the voted again and it was shot down.
My first thought was, "Hey no fair! If you miss the meeting you should wear it!" Of course, he is a Senator so I suppose he's representing his electorate so they shouldn't suffer 'cause he's a slowpoke. Still can you imagine that happening anywhere else! Like you show up at 6:05pm at the Voting Booth and ask to vote 'cause you were dilly-dallying! They're not gonna let you!
In other news, I had an early start to work again and somehow I swear the Western Distrubutor knows when I'm in a hurry! I was there some twenty mintues earlier than usual, but the traffic was still backed up! What the fuck?! How does that work? Everybody also had to go 20 minutes early? This does not make sense! As Pauline Hanson would say. "Please explain."
Tomorrow my mother is going to Hawaii! So I'm going over to stay at the parentals to help Dad who's had the surgery on his toe. He's able to walk without crutches which is good, but he still has to hobble about. I'm going to cook marinated chicken legs for dinner. So, I wonder if I should stay for Friday and the weekend too, because this results in irony! In a twist of irony, a friend of mine is having a birthday party and it's on my side of the Bridge! So for once, I wouldn't have to go as far! Oh well, it's not that much further I guess. Still kinda funny.

Bed again! Didn't get as much of a chance to play The Sims 2 today because I was at Mum and Dad's house. I wanted to leave at about 7 or 7:30pm, but they dillydallyed and I had to help Mum with her phone.
And that's all I have to say for now.
