Best Laid Plans of Moose and Men

Oh dear, as you may guess from me writing this before 4pm I didn't end up going to work. I think I overate or something at my party because this morning my digestive system was most annoyed. I wasted good Travel 10s trying to get to work, but I felt pretty awful, so I returned to the parentals house. Of course one benefit to being a casual is if you don't show up they don't kick your ass, there will probably be work tomorrow which is good. Still, Mum will be most displeased when she hears this.

I also feel really tired, even though I actually got enough sleep last night, maybe I overnapped todayr , I went to sleep when I got home and slept for two hours. The other day I read this interesting thin about sleep cycles, maybe I stuffed up and woke up in the middle of one hence the tiredness.

I have to say one thing I better feel better tomorrow or I'm screwed! I really need some extra money to get along, I was not expecting work this week, so it is a bonus, but it would have been much better if I had worked yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Oh well...

AIM is not working at the mo, so I can't speak to any of my online buddies, how unfair! But I thank ye all for wishing me a Happy Birthday! :O)

11pm: Disestive system is still pissed off at me, though I managed to eat dinner, during which I discovered Mum and Dad have been having digestive problems too! (Wow, what bad dinner conversation!) Well gee they should tell a person because those digestive bugs are easily passed along and had I know I would not have used the bathroom cup last night.

You probably shouldn't use the same cup every night, or at the very least you shouldn't when you've got an illness... I do hope I'm better tomorrow, Mum will kick my ass if I don't go to work, and I can't exactly lie about it because Dad will be home so he'll know if I don't! Well here's hoping.

1. What do you dream about lately (literally or otherwise)?

Well, today I dreamed about the royal family because I was reading a book about them before I took that nap in afternoon. It was very bizarre, one minute they were at the train station, then it was Disneyland...then I was tryng to tape Whose Line Is It Anyway and then I was following George III and Queen Charlotte around...Bizarre!

2. Tell us about a dream you had that you fulfilled and what you did to make that dream come true.

Gee, I dunno...my thought processes are lacking today...I guess writing stories? I used to make up stories in my head, and dream about them and stuff but I didn't start writing until I was 8 years old. Then for like 4 years I always wanted to finish a story which I finally did! Yay for me!

3. Name a few songs with "dream" in the title.

Sweet Dreams are Made of These is all I can think of and might not even be the actually title...

Transportation

1. How do you get from one place to the next? Car? Train? Walk? Something else? Do you like that mode of transportation? Why/why not?

Well last year I starteddoing more driving, but I;ve since realised I can't afford to, so now I usually walk or catch the bus. I used to catch the train, but Travel Passes are also too expensive. Which is a bummer, because I like catching the train.

2. Do you have a car? Do you like it? Do you like having it? Would you consider not having one? Why/why not?

Well I used too, with my own personalised plates and everything! But Mum sold it to some friends, they say they'll send the plates back to me, so I have hopes. There's still the white Nissan, but Mum bitched me out a few weeks ago about not having the money to pay for driving it, so I haven't since then.

3. What do you think of public transportation? Do you have good public transportation where you live? Do you use it? Why/why not?

It's all right, but then I live and most travel to major traffic hubs, itwould total suck trying to get to the city from the Western suburbs or something. Also, the buses, trains and ferries are usually late and some only go every hour or something, so if you miss it you're stuffed!

Well, for reasons unknown I was really bored on Monday (I totally forgot about this job interview I had with one of those job finding agencies) and I was waiting for a bus and I was at the Discount bookstore so I decided to buy this biography about the Queen and her husband. It's a rather good read, I've just finished it (footnotes and all!) I've also borrowed a book about the Queen Mother, why I dunno. Royalty is intiguing. Plus I can read it from the point of viewof What would GIII say!

I found it through www.thedailymeme.com, although I can't recall any more how I found that website and can't be arsed too go searching now. It was back in 2005 I think...

Twosome: Little-- by little we branch out and bloom. How often do you post per week? Is that more or less than six months ago?

Once a day, maybe more depending on if I'm doing anything that day. Which is about the same as six months ago as I'm still jobless.

Threesome: Bud-- break time is coming later this year. ...but are the bulbs in your area pushing up through the soil yet?

I'm not sure what you mean by break time, but as it's the middle of summer here all the flowers have bloomed, it's very nice over at the park, much better than spring when there's manure on the the flower beds...geeze what a reek!

There's a very strange show on TV right now, it's supposed to be about Rome, but there appears to be a lot of Asian lookng people in it...Romans didn't look Asian did they? And now they're having an orgy which is true enough, those perverts...

You know I think it's set in Eygpt for some reaosn, so I guess they good be people of Middle Easten appearance...

I also saw a library job on Seek today at the University of Sydney library! I must apply, along with doing this teacher librarian course which my parents have convinced me won't be so bad, and prehaps I'll get the school holidays so I can be a freeloader still. I wonder how much teacher it actuall involves...I suppose I can teach kids how to use the Dewey Decimal system...

Anywho, I'm tired and I must be getting to sleep! My mother will wake me early tomorrow and I don't want to undersleep!
