August? Shit!
Aug. 1st, 2006 07:57 pm6:18pm: I can't believe it's August all ready! That means it's been nearly 9 months since I finished Uni and 9 months with no job! Fuck me, I'm about to become one of the long-term unemployed. This is freaky...how can I have a Uni Degree and be jobless? I guess that's uppitty of me...and now my hubrius has come down.
In other news, today after work I did something that probably wasn't all that smart considering my poor digestive system has been upset lately, I had Macca's for lunch! Not only that but they had those Classic burgers avaliable and I got a double quarter pounder! Geeze, I feel OK, but I really should stop doing that...I often do that when I get over a stomachaches have something really fatty, or cheesey, or chocolately. No wonder my poor digestive system hates me.
I seem to have a bit of a headache at the mo, but I'm not sure...it's not really a headache, my face just kind of hurts, probably sinus! Or the stress of hurrying all over the place today. I totally took the wrong bus this morning! I have no idea where it went but eventually I saw Epping Road and leapt off, leaving my walkperson behind! Argh! This afternoon I tried to call the Loss Property Divison in Ryde, but they closed up five minutes early it seems, so I couldn't. I sure hope no-one took it, I have hopes since it's such an old walkperson it plays casettes not CDs! I'll have to call tomorrow.
So anyway, I get of the bus and am about one kilometre from work so I have to hurry all the way there getting there at 10 instead of 9, do'h! So I only worked four hours today instead of five, but even that was pushing it! As it is I have to go back again some time because the boot is still bent out of shape a bit and some of the exhaust comes into the car, which as you can imagine is pretty freaking dangerous!
Mum just called though to say that if I don't get a job in the next month my car has to be sold! I don't really need a car, but I love my number plates! Mum said I don't have to give them up though, Grandpa's going to put 'em on his car and next April I get to have it. But really I should have a job! So I have to ask at work tomorrow whether I can have full time hours (even if I'm not actually considered a full time employee). But I'd much rather keep on keeping on with the Publishing thing. Come on, God! Papa needs a new set of shoes.
I'm a bit disappointed, I finally figured out how to get Ch 10 to work here and they're not even showing The Simpsons tonight! Instead it some stupid show about finding a husband for some chick. What the Hell?
Tonight there's a new show on the ABC called The First Tuesday Book Club, it sounds very interesting! It's on at 10pm, so I mustn't forget that.
Well, I don't have much else to say, so I'm going to surf the web or maybe play some Sims (I was trying to do that yesterday, but my head hurt and I gave up like ten minutes in).
Ta ta for now!
