Well WTF? That Was A Wasted Evening!

I don't know where my brain went, but instead of playing Sims 2 as I was planning to do, I somehow got distracted doing something else on the net and now it's a quarter to midnight and I have to go to bed soon! Hmpf! Laaaame!

Also I was rather surprised by the doco, I very much like the guy who narrates the thing but dear me, they came down hard on old G III, it's hard to know what to believe about historical figures...heh makes me wonder what people three hundred years from now will think of John Howard, Big Kim or even George Bush? LOL! Although the doco took the piss out of everyone else just as much so maybe it's a more cynical look at Royalty. Everyone can enjoy that.

Right now I'm watching The Case for Innocence on C&I about people who get railroaded into jail by bad policing and bad lawyering and what not. They found out that the guy they stuck in jail for raping and killing someone has been basically cleared by DNA evidence and they're like. "Yeah, so?" Geeze, that's not very legal isn't? You can't just leave someone in jail when there's new compelling evidence out there, you have to retry them! If they're still considered guilty, so be it, but this is pretty sticky (no pun intended).

Wednesday Mind Hump

We've made it! The week is half over! We get to celebrate with a mind hump! Today is simplicity day. I like that!

Making up stories in my head! Ah yeah, that's the stuff! :OD I really should write them down since I've got quite a few stories going on there...

2. Name one thing you've done to simplify your life.

Well, not having a job :OP, actually seriously that's really not going well for me. Ummm...Oh I know, orgainsing all my Sims 2 pics, now I've got everything in it's own little folder in order and makes updating so much easier. :O) Good stuff!

Anyway, I'm going off to get pissed at the US Law System leaving innocent people in jail.

9:49pm: I stopped playing because I had to go get this new hack I saw on Mod the Sims to turn off aging for indiciduals because I kinda let Delae get too far through the kid stage before having her brother born. I've got that now, but I dunno if I'll be going back to the game or not...probably. :O) It's highly addictive those darn Sims!

Aaaaanyway, it took a while to get the right looking kid once again, in fact I was orginally going to have Georgio with gray eyes and brown hair, but it was taking forever so when he came out with black hair and gray eyes (like his father) on the fifth try I was like "Whatever."

Woah, creepy crime story on C&I which occured in Australia itself! A guy went and killed two people and mutilated their bodies, then after he got arrested and tried to blame his father for tramatising him, his friend (with his sister's help) went and killed the father when the jury didn't buy the story. :Oo Cripes. People are nutcases.

Oh yeah, I just remembered I never mentioned what happened today, basically I wasted $2.60 on bus fare and a whole lot of time going to the wrong Centrelink Office for the interview today. Turns out the Centrelink I was supposd to go to was totally in the opposite direction...Dang. So now, I have to go next Wednesday, unless I get a job before then...Hmpf.

Which brings to mind the fact that I heard today that 5,000 new jobs or even more maybe, were created last month and the unemployment rate is steady, to which I can say, "I'm not seeing any of that." It's a bit of a let down...:O( am I unemployable or something? The Ch. 7 people called up today in fact to tell me that I didn't get the job, sigh, damn. Here's hoping something will come through.
