I was very busy today, over at the apartment cleaning out the Box Thing, I've managed to free up quite a bit of room, so that's good! :O)
I had this little factoid all prepared to post today but I can't verify it! It seems I read somewhere that only July 4th 1738 George III was baptised, which if true is pretty ironic! Ah, of all the days...But the only website I can find says he was baptised on 21st June (Old Style!) which would be the 2nd of July (New Style)...people can't count these days! Well, whatever...
A perhaps more truthful statement was apparently the day of July 4th, 1776, GIII wrote in his diary "Nothing of importance happened today" LMAO! Now of course he couldn't possibly have known what went down, but it's still pretty funny!
Cripes! My laptop ust gave me the scare of my life! I spent hours yesterday putting Sims 2 piccies on a CD (there's still thousands to go, what can I say, I'm picture happy) and I just put the CD in to check on them and it looked as if all but a few had been wiped! Geeze! But I took the CD out gave it a look over and put it back in and everything's being read. Still, I wonder what happened...I hope the CD isn't damaged or something...might have to make a backup of my backups.
In other news...I've gotta find a job in a month otherwise I'm going to get roped into this six month 'Work for the Dole' thing, which is fair enough I guess, but as I don't get paid anymore than the current Newstart for it there's no way I'll be able to afford anything! :O(
Which reminds me, going to Centrelink today gave me yet another reason to be seriously pissed off at those stupid Outsource people! I had to spend ages there getting everything fixed up because I thought I was gonna work there full-time. Bastards! Didn't help I had a spilitng headache and in fact took a nap before digging into the Box and taking two paracetamol. I really must go to bed earlier because Mum is just going to wake me up early and when I don't get my 8 hours there's pain!

Well, I'm off to back up more pics and watch Crime Night and maybe play some Sims 2 a little later on, do a July 4th celebration for my Simmies, because I never done so before and they are supposed to be Americans. :O)
