Progress on the Room....

11:11pm: Well, it's probably good that Dad has told me I don't have to go to Church tomorrow, we expect the moving man- who's exchanging the couches- to come by late for a Saturday and someone has to be here to see he doesn't kill the house moving all the stuff around.

After that I'm still wondering whether or not to go up the Coast with Dad, earlier this evening I was feeling pretty lonely, but things have started to turn around in terms of returning the book (premissio granted!) and just the general hilarity of these two websites- http://www.superdickery.com and http://www.emotioneric.com/ have cheered me up quite a bit. Although my friend Ben has had to cancel on tomorrow's activities, which I probably wouldn't have been able to go to (the room's still pretty bad), because he's feeling crappy with a cold.

Oh dear! I just went down to the kitchen to put away the dinner tonight and discovered that Dad made up a plate of dinner for me! I just got mine out of the pot! Well that explains why there wasn't any pumpkin...what a shame, I love pumpkin! I sure can't eat it now having brushed my teeth and everything. Oh well, tomorrow for lunch maybe.

Anyway, I'm tired so there won't be anymore cleaning tonight, plus I should get up early because I think they moving man might come early for the couchbed in my room, then later for the big desk. I hope not too early! 'Cause there's no way it'll be clean! Plus I want to get to the Post Office if possible to send back the book, or at least get an envelope or something. I also think I should vacuum in here because the floor having been covered with stuff for so long it's not a pretty sight now...Oh dear...

Damn! Juggling Taping and Dropping the Shows!

10:01pm: Tonight Fox 8 started showing Smallville from the beginning again, considering the fact I'd lost track of the show when it went from Ch 7 (or 9 I forget which one it was now), so I'm doing that when I forget that The Glasshouse and Chaser's War on Everything was on on ABC 2! I meant to tape them downstairs because I messed up taping them last night. But by the time I remembered it was too late for The Glasshouse, and when I tried to tape Chaser the VCR downstairs wouldn't accept the bloody tape! I've got no idea why but I ended up missing like five minutes of the show! Plus I've got a bad feeling my tape may have skipped back a bit, fortunately it'll just go over the credits.

Luckily I can get the episodes off the net with BitTorent, but it's very slow, which is a bummer because I really wanted to play some Sims 2 tonight (I've been looking at some people's legacy stories...hmmm...I should update mooseys_sims I've totally neglected it!), plus you know I don't know how to get it onto a tape or anything so that means my shows will be all spilt up. Oh well, I have been toying with the idea of getting a combination DVD/VCR so I can cover all my videos o DVDs. We'll see where that goes.

Ok, I kinda forgot about this entry for quite a while and it's now an hour later! I'm still contemplating on whether to pause the download and just Sim, but it's kinda late...hmmm...indecision...

Anyway, I must link picture of a comicbook panel, it's the funniest thing I've seen in...forever...my God the irony! Of all the words to use! Ah brilliant.

In other news! Hip-hip-Hooray! It looked close for a while, but Li'l Lleyton made it! Whoot! He's goin' up! Also the Tour D'France started tonight, which I sometimes watch if only to hear the commentator guy (the famous one who's been commentating on the Tour for years and years) talk about the Pelaton.

Right now though I'm trying to label my tapes while the labeling is good, I can see everything in my room! Yes, it's all cleaned up now and the desk and couch are gone. It looks so different, and geeze I've sure let the carpet go to Hell, it's so white on the places it was covered...Dad's probably going to have to rent one of those super-vacuumcleaners.

Unfortunately, the moving-men dropped the ball on the other half of the moving process, bringing the bigass blue couch that's at the apartment (the one that crapped up my back) back here and putting it upstairs! Not only where they late, they didn't have the proper tools to take the little legs off the sofa so they could fit it out the door. Now that sucks! My big bro now has two couches in that little apartment!

In other news, I totally need to apply for that job I got sent! At first the website wasn't working properly, but a few hours ago it did, so I've got the ad up and I just need to send of my resume, it's at a Library, sounds interesting I must say. And it's reminded me that I have an interview with the Jobfind people on Monday, I wonder wht they will have to say about my tale of woe?

1. what type of internet service (speed) do you have at home?

Broadband. It's not as fast as cable, but it's pretty damn good...well except for this torrent (pokes it)

2. My mother has dial-up, and it took me over one hour last night to purchase airline tickets. Do you know anyone who still has dial-up service?

3. Can you access the internet from your mobile phone?

It says I should, but whenever I try it says I can't, so I say screw it!

4. The new 'fit' by Honda has bluetooth so that you can use your wireless bluetooth phone to make phone calls 'from' your car. Is something like that important to you?

Err...I don't really see the point, is there a different between that and using a normal mobile with hands free? Or am I missing something here?

5. My friends are always looking for some way to 'get away from it all.' I prefer to go somewhere that I can look at the news or check my email or read up on the celeb gossip websites from time to time ... it's what I do to 'unwind.' Would you like to vacation where there were no phones, no internet, no television, no radio, or are you too 'connected'?

Well, I wouldn't want to be completely cut off, although having said that, I did OK in Bali with no internet, there was so much to do there, places to visit, shopping, hanging with my friend Micki. But if I went somewhere for a while, I'd probably want to be able to get on the net. And now I've got my laptop here, I'd definitely to take it, to play Sims 2 if nothing else. :O)

6. What is the silliest modern invention we have today?

Not sure...but I'm sure it's been invtented by the Japanese, they've got some weird shit over there.

7. What are your favourite blogs to read? Political? Personal? Parenting? Car? Sports? Cooking?

All sorts! Mostly personal, meme and Sims 2 related ones, a few question type ones and so forth. Just check my huge ass Group list and so on.

8. Do you find that your connectivity (internet, cable tv, etc.) keep you from reading books or writing 'real' letters? Or do you make time to do those things?

Indeed! Which is a pity because I do love to write and I still make up stories in my head about the stories I'm supposed to be writing. I really need to get off my ass about that.

Righto, I have to track down my Crash Scene Investigation tape because it's coming on tonight...I found my Simpsons one a variously miscellaneous stuff...so where is it? I must now.
