I Need to Get Me a New Simmy Icon
Jun. 13th, 2006 07:03 pmDid some Simming last night :OD Fun as ever although my attempts to get Stella over to the Baines's house to be made over so she could meet Sam for the first time refused to come together, those darn Sims! :O) I'll have to try tomorrow...Which reminds me I have to get rid of the Pinaza families because George's mother came home with David Baines, considering she's thirteen years older than them is a real WTF moment, LOL!
In other news my nose has started doing that weird sore shit again, it hurts, the PAIN! I have no idea what's going on up there, but it totally sucks! I'd go down to the doctors, but I can't really be bothered at this late stage, plus Temptations and a new Simpsons and I don't wanna miss it! I used to have this antibotic cream for it, but I can't seem to find it, all I've got is eye ointment, which you can't use. This sucks.
Moving on it's hard not to get caught up in the Big Soccer Win for Australia! Hooray for Aussies! Last I heard before going to bed last night was Japan getting a goal they really shouldn't have, but wouldn't you know it, in typical Aussie style we came back with not one, not two, but THREE goals of our own, LOL! It was cute seeing all the celebrations on the news, they were a very excited bunch, even the cops were cheering. :O)
I'm pissed off at the Government, as usual, the ACT was on the verge of legalising sam-sex civil unions (with all the rights of marriage), but John Howard and his merry band of "OMG the Gayzzzzz!!!!1" have used their Senate majority to ban it! That's the shittiest thing I've heard all week (and it's only Tuesday!) What the Fuck? It's not like they're saying people HAVE to do it (you know Christian priests or whatever), it's just an option for dedicatd long-term homosexual couples so if the worst happens and one of them dies their partner gets the benefits. Geeze, what's that shit.
Actually, there IS something a lot worse then the above, child labour in the Congo, mining copper for our shit! That's terrible! These kids don't get to school and barely get paid any money at all. That's sick...meanwhile people want to more money and Coporate fat cats get richer. This is why I don't like shareholders, it's the rush to bring those guys profits and just out of pure greed people do bastard stuff like this to children! I wish I could do something! I should try and work with the UN or something like that.
Speaking of which, I've got another interview tomorrow, I'm a bit worried (sigh!) stupid semi-panic attack the other week, it's throwing me off. Well, on the plus side this is a job I actually understand and am sure I can do the DVD one was more a stab in the dark and the call for an interview totally unexpected. Let this be a lesson: Don't go apply for jobs if you've got no idea what they're all about!
Gee, I've just realised tomorrow is Wednesday, shit...the year is whizzing by, eeek! I don't want to get old! Slow down time, slow down! What happened to the good old days? When the year used to take forEVER! I miss those days! :'O(
Ah well...I haven't got much else to say, except they've taken Fairly Odd Parents off Sarvo on Nickelodeon, awww...I liked watching that! On the plus side at least I don't have to worry about getting home or setting the tape at 4pm anymore. Still, I hope they come back...
