anonymoose_au: (Go _Uck Yourself _ _)
Last night I couldn't sleep worth a damn, which sucked majorly becuase previously I've had not trouble sleeping and have woken much refreshed...last night I tossed, I turned and despite taking the cough medicine, coughed (which of course hurt my abdomen like a bitch). I ended up wide awake, so to speak at 5.40am and there was no way I was getting back to sleep, so I turned on the laptop. I should really stop doing that, I don't know if been on this thing all the time is bad for my cold, but it sure is bad for elbows. I've got a rash on one of them from leaning on it so much the last few days.

Now my body temp regulator has gone to Hell or some such, on the one hand my legs when overcovered are too cold, but the second I put anything on them, from a pair of jeans to a doona, they get to hot! Whereas the rest of my person is fine, maybe even a little overheated. This sucks major ass because I can't even nap, I tried about a half hour ago but that, and the coughing just made it impossible.

I've also got my diet to contend with! Fortunately, I've been eating a lot of fruit, veggies, some bread and a bit of meat, but nothing like an actual meal, I'm quite concerned I may be making things worse, but there's not much food in this place and I hate soup (I just can't swallow it, I think it reminds me too much of sick people and that just puts me off, plus the tomato kind gives me a terrible sore throat, I don't know why), so what to eat? I wish Jeeves was still around so he could tell me what to do. I can't believe the retired him! Lame!

Anyway...I'm still not in a Memeing mood...I'm gonna be so far behind by the time I get back 'round to it...bummer and a half.

Hmpf, someone just called and the second I answered they hung up! Don't you hate it when people do that? You know, I'd suspect I'd sound a lot better with a frog in my throat, sine it'll probably bring the pitch of my voice waaay down.

Anyway, I decided to download one of those LJ Updating Client Things, not because I don't like updating from the site (even with this crazyily growing window), but so I don't have to keep signing in and out when I do Mooseys_Sims, because I like to read my Anonymoose_au friends groups during updating (which is why it takes so long to do) and I can't do that if I sign out of this account can I. But no, huzzah! All is good. Although I need to go back and correct a few mistakes on [livejournal.com profile] mooseys_sims, I realised I accidentally posted the same event twice, but I didn't want to delete either one, because I enjoyed both, so...I didn't. I also need to dress up my User Info over there too, it's very boring at the mo, and I'm trying to be eye-catching.

I sure wish I sounded better so I could call up those Publishing Companies to offer my volunteer services, see what they have to say about that, but I don't want to call up have them suggest I come in and then have to go "Well, actually, I'm sick at the mo, can't really move under my own power..." Talk about a bad impression.

Hmm, am now sitting up in bed cross legged, this will probably result in my foot falling asleep, but it sure makes my back and elbows feel better, so what the Hell, I'll stick with it...Right off to search for recommended eats for Cold Sufferers.

Excuse my mangled Airplane! Line up there, but I'm always saying that whenever I can, well putting in what it is that's getting thicker or growing larger that is.

But at the risk of giving you far more info then you'd ever want to know I've got the "productive" cough as they call it now, which means I can't take my cough medicine even if the shit work, because it's only for dry coughs.

Oh, how I hate the productive coughs! They make me so nervous becuase, TMI again I can NOT cough up phlegm, in fact in my whole life I've only done it once, and that was seriously unpleasant! So, you know, it's really gross when I get it, ewww! Although, I wonder if I should go back to the doc's tomorrow...or at least go to the Pharmacy to get more antibotics...I don't know about the later, because the pain in my lymph nodes have gone now and taking antibotics when you don't need 'em is just asking for the creation of superbugs. Although despite the cough I think I'm on the road to recovery, I have return my laptop to my desk and am now sitting here and not feeling that bad. Although, I still feel rather weak on my feet.

I'm also flickering between anxiety and calmness (so to speak) for I am home alone :O( the Parental Units are still up the coast, I think they might be back tomorrow evening or maybe Wednesday morning and my little bro has gone to work (tomorrow he marches with Grandpa in the Anzac Day Parade! Must make sure he gets to bed early because he'll have to wake up at dawn to get there on time). But I'm thinking make dinner, but what, there actually isn't anything that healthy around...I guess just some sausages, or perhaps there's still some fish around, fish is good. I better go and investigate.

In other news, to brighten up all your Friends Pages I bring you:

Yes, indeed! It's Hill Valley, Sims style! Do you like the Courthouse? The clock doesn't work sadly and it's in it's pre-WWII state (the wooden buildings to its right), but I'm really looking forward to sending my Simmies down there.

The brown farmhouse with the green plumbob waaaay back there on the right is the home of William and Nadine McFly, with their children (except Mircanda, who's gone to Texas), and the next house, the two story whitish one is where Seamus and Maggie live with their second son Lawerence, his wife Jill and their three children (Clarissa and twins Melanie Margaret and Sean Andrew).

The Baines and Lawsons live in the two houses at the bottom of right of the picture...they used to live across the room from each other, but the Baines's needed more room, so they moved into the house closest to the screen.

And behind the Baines's house, on the East end of town, is the Brown Mansion where Doc and his parents live.

And the final two green plumbob houses...the one on the left belong to Sims who shouldn't be there, the Faulkners (they're meant to live in the London section of the neighbourhood [see [livejournal.com profile] mooseys_sims LJ info], but I haven't got to movin' them yet.) And then the Stricklands, with young Stuart Strickland- Discipline all ready making a nussiance of himself.

Heh, well, that's all I have to say at the mo, and now I shall go downstairs to hunt food.

PS Well, I've just noticed that Doc's house is in the wrong place (considering how Marty came into town in the movie)...how embarrassing...I shall move it at a later date.
