Summer's Back!
Jan. 22nd, 2006 12:56 am12.34 am: The temperature was way up there today after all that rain, and it's set to be 30 degrees today...yikes! Alas, that status of my party remains unknown due to several factors...but I swear I'm going to make the calls tomorrow morning!
There was a very intriguing show on Queen Victoria and Prince Albert tonight, which I meant to tape, but I'll have to wait 'til tomorrow afternoon, my one compliant is the re-enactment actor they got to portray Albert looks nothing like the man! Quite jarring, and the re-enactment actor for Vic doesn't look like her either...Honestly when you've got photographic evidence of people lying around you can't just make the actors look however you want.
Watching the tennis right now after playing The Sims 2 for a few hours getting all the families caught up...you've got to keep track of 'em all otherwise I'll end up with Max McFly all grown up while Sam and Stella are still kiddies! Anyway with regards to the tennis I was confused by the sight of 1 2 next to the players names since sets are won by 6s or more, but I've finally realised it's saying one guy's won 1 game to another guy's 2. And one of them is Aussie, the crowd is going wild every time the guy scores...bu twill he get over the line? I've never heard of this guy before so he's probably not that high up. Plus it's been a long game from what I can see. Not like the Federal Express (Federer) who kicked major ass today! Did you know he can speak six languages too? Some people are absurdly gifted, although maybe been Swiss he learnt at a young age, which is easier.
