Aha! That's The Problem....

After playing The Sims Nightlife for a short time, still with no options to slow dance or scope the room or anything such thing, which left me feeling pretty bummed since it was one of Nadine's wants to go on a Date and I couldn't get her to go on one!

Then it occurred to me, the Custom Content Box thing that pops up! Maybe the things it lists are interfereing with it. So I decided to disable them and restart the game and lo and behold, it worked! All the options are there! And they went away when I turned the custom contents back on.

However...I remember quite clearly those interactions working (or at least the going out in a group thing) after installing it. I did go on quite a downloading spree after playing it for the first time, perhaps one of those things is causing the problem...Unfortunately due to the hour I'm too tired to fiddle around with it now. But I'm thinking of removing all the stuff I downloaded post-installing Nightlife and see what's going down there.

Right...late now, and the Moose be tired, so no Memes, I'll catch up on the tomorrow, along with fun Sim interactions like Slow dance! Yeeha!

Gasp! OMG! No WAY! WAAAAAY!

I got my Sims working this morning, by removing stuff like "The Keep Everything Where It Is" Shrub (now that Simmies have there own inventories you don't really need it), the teleporter and some other stuff and now all my options are back! Yeeha!

Buuut, if you can believe this, instead of playing I went to Uni to do my papers, then when I came home instead of playing it then I started on the New Media Assignment on Pirates! Yes! I'm halfway through now...I'm rather proud of myself for bucking down and doing it. It looks quite good if I say so myself...I just have to figure out how to end it.

In other news, FUUUCK! Starting Monday cheese and milk are going to cost 8% more! This is terrible! 500g of cheese is jumping half a buck! :Oo Damn, I may have to cut back on cheese intake, oh well, it's probably for the best anyway...

I sure wish I'd gone shopping though, we're out of toilet paper and I don't have a new video for Strictly Dancing tonight, but it's too late to head out now.

But it was to be suspected, people have being predicting this for a while because of the high price of fuel, we gotta go solar or something!

But whaaa-? I just heard on the news that the big retail chains won't have their prices hiked after all? I don't get it? Well, I suppose I can't complain, although the poor local shopowner has to shoulder the burden, what a rip for them!

So anyway, having pasta for tonight, yummy! Although I keep burning the bottom of the pot, damn!
