You Try and Download A Show....
Jun. 14th, 2005 05:40 pm4:40pm: And they make it so hard for you! First of all, when I went to bed last night my download of Family Guy wasn't even half way, so I left it on, only to find it had hardly moved at all! And at that point I realised that the title of it indicated that it wasn't just one episode, but all five of them! God damn! What a waste of twelve hours that was! So I go back to the BitTorrent site to download the other one, which takes forever too!
I go to work two hours ago, figuring it'll be finished by the time I get home, but when I return, the download appears to screwed up! It says it's done, but I can't get to play...so now I'm downloading another one! Pain in the ass. But this one is downloading fast (fingers crossed) so I've got high hopes. :O) It's all ready past 54 percent!
In other news, I've downloaded this hacked object from www.simlogical.com that will let me create my own townies, hopefully this will work and at least I'll have townies appropiately dressed for the time period, I wonder how I can 'replace' them as time goes on, we don't want some 1940s person walking around in the 1960s do we? I'll have to back up the neighbourhood though, just to make sure it's safe since I don't feel like restarting!
Ouch, for some bizarre reason I've got a pain in my chest it must be heartburn or something...owww...that's really not cool. But it seems to be going away now I've eaten some vegetables.
Hey! The Download's done! Woohoo! I'm gonna watch it right now, and then I'm off to play Simmies!
