Swiped from [livejournal.com profile] shonasheastwood although unfortunately I didn't get such a nifty answer!

You are a Random cat! Also known as an alley cat

ways, but you're accessible and popular.
People love you for who you are, not what you

Also I'm bummed, in the People's Paper aka Daily Telegraph for the last two weeks they've had these really cool Simpson character that you can assemble so they're sort of three-d in the end. However, I've broken the stands on four of them! Dear me I hope I can get some extra characters tomorrow so I can get new stands, otherwise they won't be able to stand up!

And damn me if that won't bother me all day long! (I'm a bit of an obsessive) I want my stands! Let that be a lesson, remember not to toss a whole lot of books on top a very delicate album of little plastic figures.

In other news I notice that [livejournal.com profile] applescruffs85 has finished her NaNoWriMo novel! Or the first part at least :O) Yay! I'm looking forward to reading it.
As for my novel 30 Years is a Long Time to Wait is currently at 20,800 words (nice round number), and unless I'm SuperWoman shan't be finished in time. The only problem is if you start to late with this thing what you upload probably won't be very good by comparison because you won't have had time to do the proof-reading and stuff, and damn me I've I don't need to proof-read my stories big-time!

Also I'm wondering if I've got a believable Doc voice going on, I mean you can't just toss in big words and a couple of Great Scott's and Doc's your Uncle ;O), did anyone read my little excerpt at my NaNoWriMo page?

However, it is fun updating my word count every two hours and seeing the little bar move closer to the target, targets are fun for the whole family.
Either way, I'm hoping to put it up on my Webpage in the near future and see if I'll ever have a career as a writer.

Ah dear! Once again reminded of lack of decent job! I have to call work today to get my shifts and I may have more than usual due to one of the employees being quite ill (she had to have an operation!), but I'm hoping I won't, since as previously stated I don't like the boss's attitude.

It's an absloutely stinking hot day today, it's not even twelve pm and I think it's 30 Degrees C out there! I'm not venturing outside unless it's...absolutely...postively...necesary.

Once again I am unable to figure out if I'm hungry or not...anyone else have this problem.

Anyways, I'm off to play The Sims 2 because soon I'll be at the apartment with an uncompatiable computer :O( and clean my room, it's a pig sty!

And PS. I decided to restart the Baines family in the Sims 2 since as it stood all the future McFly children (David, Linda and Marty) would inherit brown eyes because Lorraine was made in Create-A-Sim, now though she has a light blue eye gene so or should be well :O)! Tried the same thing with George, but that would mean redoing Aunt Deb etc also the kid is too outgoing (personality points being randomly assigned from both parents at all). However, I could get Max to encourage shyness and chalk it up to horrible experiences at school! Poor George!

But anyway, the Baines' are back to as they were (with little Milton) you can visit them here.
anonymoose_au: (You Get a Job!)
Sometimes like Homer Simpson I wonder if God is teasing me...

My work called me up to ask me if I can start at 8am tomorrow to what time they did not specify (fuckin' great) and of course I have to say yes, because I don't have any other jobs that will bring me money. Except for my Uni Job which I do like, I'm sor worried about missing that appointment on Friday! I'm worried they might have wanted to offer me more work, and if so I've lost my chance.

Anyway, the thing is, I'm probably going to be working at that stupid newsagnecy for HOURS! Which makes me want to cry when I remember that the Library turned me away because they thought I was suitable for a job with long hours.

And what do I get, a stupid standing up job, where nobody talks to me, where I keep running off at the mouth abot how sore my poor legs are, while the damn boss tells me off for not putting the fuckin' notes in the till in the right direction, AND I have to do it for long hours! }:O(

And to make it worse, my computer locked up and I must have lost a thousand words of my story! :O( I can't get them back even though I tried the recovery thing (you know how sometimes the computer remembers your work even after the auto-save?), so now I have to write it out again.

On the other hand, as my father points out to me, the boss probably thinks he's doing me a big favour by giving me shifts and probably would be if I actually liked the work. But I don't, but I can't exactly say that can I? The other annoying thing is, of course is that Library work pays like five bucks more an hour. On the other hand, I could have a job like my little bro, it appears he gets paid a pittance to lug boxes around for seven hours five days a week. So, I'm doing Ok.

My big Bro on the other hand, has luck on his side like you wouldn't believe! Although as he likes to remind me he had really shitty jobs for a while, Deli Assitant at Woolies, Pizza-Hut Delievery Driver (more trouble then it's worth) etc. So he deserves it, but he seems to be as unreliable as I am when it comes to getting to work on time!

So I'm trying to apply for that Library job, although I'm not exactly sure of all the stuff I'm supposed to include, something about my suitablity? But it sounds interesting, and included 3 hours shifts. Nice.

But I'm in a bad mood due to ahem...feminine issues, which may explain why I'm more peeved than usual, that and the fact I was looking forward to get my Simpsons characters on Monday, which as Dad tells me is a lame excuse. Poor Dad :O( I was rather short with him this morning when he was looking for the phone. So now I feel bad.

Right a lot of these jobs look interesting, but a bit far away from public transport and stuff, which is a bit of a problem, since petrol is still expensive at the moment. It's rather funny that when the Aussie dollar goes down (ooh, it better not!) the petrol prices change in a second, but when it goes up it can take days for the change. Ha! That's business for you.

Right am calmer now and also realise that I shouldn't have sounded so depressed on the phone when the guy (not the boss) called! Oh well, I don't think he'll tell on me. But must make sure to get there on time tomorrow.

Now back to my story- my poor 1000 words.

Wow! I'm proud of myself, I got up to 27,188 words of 30 Years is a Long Time to Wait! Whether any of it is any good is question for us all, that's like 7,000 words in just today. :O)

Now my brain is fast asleep and I haven't even played my Simmies yet! So off I go to do that before I have to go to be in like an hour to get up in time for work tomorrow. Depressing! :O(

Sorry for the ultra short entry!

11.40pm I'm up too late! :OO, but I tweaked around with some of my Sim family albums (I've made the same familys like three times in effort to get 'em just right) and managed to bring about Baby George! Of course, not the story's a little disjointed, but you can see it here

And now I'm off to regret staying up this late!
