Damn me, if Bush isn't back again, too bad I was hoping he'd stay back on the golf-course.

He thanked Howard for his support- eh, I still think those two don't know what they're doing, and that they think they're smarter than they are. Actually in class today about jobs been Gendered or not and someone mentioned that the highest jobs (Leading Countries and stuff) need Communications, Leadership and Strength- heh haven't seen that in a while! ;O)

I'm hoping Bob and The Greens get a lot of seats this election- that way weirdass legislation won't always get through "No Gay Marriage" "No Adoption By Gays" that kind of crap. What's the deal with the last one, 'damaging the children' geeze, I think we can safely say that abusive parenting damages children not seeing their parents (of whatever sex) in a happy relationship. Seriously I wonder if Howard would assume that a drug-addicted parent would be a more 'suitable parent' then the spouse of said drug-addict who just happens to live with someone of the same sex.

Today was Legacy Day, I got a surprise when I saw these two guys in full navy sailor uniforms in front of the bus stop this morning. I thought about buying one, support the War Widows and Widowers but I'm running low on cash again.

Excitment! This afternoon I was sitting at home minding my own business when my mobile rings and who is it but Staton Library!

They finally dug up my resume and they want me to come in for an Interview! Horray! Here's hoping I can get a kick arse reference from Mosman Library and my avalibilty will let me get my foot in the door. Ahh, I do love books, shelving is fun- besides putting all those heavy art books on the shelf must be a way to work your biceps or whatever.

Nuts, I haven't got my mother a Birthday present and I'm all outta cash! Damn, I thought my bro had a gift and we could go halves, but apparently he hasn't. This is bad, it looks like I'll have to do the easy thing and give her some chocolate, Mum loves chocolate! :O)

And of course only 14 days til The Sims 2 hip-hip hooray!

And go Lil' Lleyton our only Aussie still there, he can do it! :O)

And in more depressing news those kiddies are still trapped in the school- things are tense- if the hostage neogations don't work the kiddies maybe killed. Seriously this is a low move on the part of Chenchya, I mean seriously in 1996 they took over a hospital! I mean that's so underhanded! I mean taking hostages of any type is bad but going after kiddies and sick people who have no hope of fighting back- that sucks.

I think they should bring some Chenchya types in- you know to tell the Terrorists to back-off, then again, maybe that'll just piss 'em off.

Anyway, let's keep the kiddies in mind and hope they all get out safe and sound. :O|

Worried About the Russian Kids

Bad news, there's something going down in Russia with the kids just on the ABC News explosions and stuff have being going off and they even moved the journalists away. Gee, I hope the kids are OK.

My father is totally pissing me off! I'm in a bad mood and he's bitchin' about cleaning up again- God damn who cares? As far as I can see no-one's died yet I have more important things to do then clean.

Also he's telling me off for not doing the washing up- that stuff's not even mine, is it my fault my brother left all these plates in his room and have only now brought them in?

Bah humbug! My big brother- who had the nerve to bag me about having too much stuff has left his crap outside and when it started to to rain I took the stuff in and left it in the back room, which happens to be Dad's study. So- now he's having a bitch about that.

Hey, another funny thing about class today, more Gendered things- this time Skills Your Parents Encouraged in You, we were supposed to write 'em down. But at first all I could think of was the stuff they DIDN'T want me to do:

Read (Read too much)
Talk (Talked too much and stupidly)
Sing (You don't even what to know)

I also never cooked, gardened or played an instrument- except my electronic keyboard.

Of course this makes my parents sounds totallly negative- but really they weren't I remembered they wanted me to Socialise! I didn't have many friends or sports (aside from my Trampolining) and they didn't want me sticking around the house all the time.

But gee- it's pretty funny about the reading I used to tell Dad all the time "Parents would DIE to have a kid who read without been made too! What's your problem?"

The HATS

Oh excitement! Strictly Dancing is on, and not only do they have Jesus, or rather the judge who's last name happens to be that...they have HATS! Cool gangsta hats!

Just last week I was at the Ball where there were many hats, including one guy who won the 'Best Dressed Male' Award with a black hat with a purple ribbon and feather. Nifty!

However, I find they're Tangoes not...Tangoey enough, I swear our French Friend Gabrielle and partner are gonna win- they were the BEST! :O)

I'd still like to see those Judges do a dance- seriously just standing their looking stern and sometimes rippin' the crap off dancers. I like to know my Judges can acutally DO what is they're judging reasonably well.

I'm restless, I haven't found any surveys to do on the net and I haven't written up my story yet- must research the 50s a little more, as I absloutely HATE anachronisms.

Hey they can Salsa these couples and there appears to be some flapper clothes out there- interesting and WOW! I'd love to get some of those red elbow length gloves! Sweeet!

But dear me they can't Jive worth a damn compared to Frenchie Gabrielle and partner-seriously they kicke ass! I'm glad I got that one on tape!

The Russian Kiddies!

The Russian Kiddies a bunch of them have been rescued and put in hospital! But bad news it looks like the terrorists may still have hostages- but no-ones sure who.
But they've only said 'MOST' of the children are alive- dear me. Not to mention the adults who are mostly parents of these kiddies.

The rescue attempt so to speak is still underway, but with guns and everything you never know who's going to be hurt. :.O( So we better pray or hope for the safety of the hostage.

Hmm, interesting the ABC's Big Picture next week is gonna be about the Christian Crusade in the US- most of the presidents been Christian. Which reminds me that JFK was the first Catholic President- I bet there was some brew-ha-ha over that. Protesants/Angelicians and Catholics in the 1960s didn't really get along, and in the 40s Catholics thought Angelicians would go to Hell- that's a bit extreme, I just thought their choice of loud difficult hymns was painful. My Grandma is Angelican you see and every time we go to her church I practically have a heart attack trying to sing those songs with the long drawn out 'Amens' 'Alleleuias' etc.

Hmm, a discussion about religion and politics- and even more religion IN politics here comes trouble...

Oh Fuck

Bad news it looks like The Russian Siege has gone to Hell- they say there's 100 dead bodies found in the school- but no news on who it could be- kiddies or their parents.

This stinks! :'O( I was really hoping that the original reports of most people escaping with injuries was true. But now it's looking very very bad- terrible pictures on the news and stuff.

Five of the Terrorists have being killed, but it looks like the rest have escaped and they're trying to track 'em down now.

I can't BELIEVE anyone would shoot kids! I mean what are they gonna do to you? But you know you shouldn't shoot ANYONE they're probably mostly men- poor blokes.

Hell, this is depresing!

Now we'll have to pray for comfort to the vitims families and stuff. :O(
