anonymoose_au11:20pm: Indeed! Today Mrs S gave me some interesting news, she's decided to rearrange my hours so that I still work the same amount, but across three days instead of five...or more like three and a half days. This is so the other carer can work more hours because otherwise she was thinking of leaving for another job and after everything that's the last thing Mrs S needs!
So this means I'll actually have a day off now! Praise the Lord! Although this isn't going to happen for two weeks, so...
In other news, I managed to forget about doing my laundry so the second load has only just finished now! Damn me, that's some fail, I did the darker clothes first so hopefully my work pants will be dry by tomorrow morning otherwise I'm not sure what I'll wear! Although I think I have seen my co-workers wearing jeans before so I guess I could always do that.
Hmm, I did promise a more substantial entry today, but I'm sorry to say I've once again left updating a bit too late for that, but here's some memes to make up for it!

Two Thousand Zero Zero Party Over Oops Out of Time
1. What’s your favorite song from 1999? Son of ass, that link makes me feel old! I remember when all those songs were new! Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer sticks out. Also... Scrubs that damn song got stuck in my head all the damn time. And She's So High is from 1999?! I could have sworn it was older.
2. What are some of your favorite films from 1999? Hmm let's see...10 Things I Hate About You fo' sure and shout out to Galaxy Quest
3. What’s something interesting that happened on your birthday in 1999? According to Wikipedia apparently sweet fuck-all.
4. How did you ring in the new year as 1999 became 2000? Watching Sydney's spectular fireworks! I think it was the first year they had the waterfall from the bottom of the Harbour Bridge.
5. What’s something that’s gotten better since 1999? The internet! Yeah, even in Australia :OP And mobile phones of course...in 1999 our family only had one!

2. What sounds do you hear right now? House Hunters International on 9Life
3. What actor or actress has a speaking voice you especially like? Alan Rickman RIP, he was the Voice of God in Dogma!
4. What musical instrument has a sound you find unpleasant? Bagpipes close up....they're OK from far away but anywhere within 20 metres it's horrible!
5. What are some great songs about listening or hearing? Well, the title of this Friday5 is one although I don't know the actual title. And...nothing else comes to mind.

1. What’s something that recently required perseverance? Um...er...gee...I'm rather lazy and not know for perseverance so.... I guess cleaning.
2. What’s something that’s been unpleasantly persistent? The wart on the bottom of my left second toe, I've been using wart-busting stuff on that thing for almost nine months now.
3. When has practice not proven to make perfect? Hmm...dunno, that's another thing I fail at doing in general.
4. Where were you last required to exercise patience? Waiting for the presentation to start for that Apartment Opening thing, not sure how well I exercised it though...I was checking my phone a lot.
5. How do you feel about peas? I quite like them! Thank you for asking, although my mother is well known for overestimating how much are needed to be boiled.
Right, I better hang up my washing and get to bed, work calls tomorrow!
