Well it would appear the original source images for my little Sims Mood Bar that I use every time I update have disappeared from the internet for good. This means that all the times I used it from about November 2004 to December 2005 are now pictureless! This cannot be borne, so I'll have to update everyone of them...which will take for-friggin'-ever! Damn...

Well, all the interviews I did today turned out well, well I think although I have a sinking suspicion this is another job I won't get, but as I discovered from the Careers Consellor at UTS today you do have to go to the publishing companies themselves rather than wait for them to advertise. Well, better start with that.

In other news I seem to have forgotten how to chew properly and keep biting my cheek! Which hurts like a bitch and has left a mark...owww...damn. Dad says the same thing has been happening to him, but what the Heck causes that? Who forgets how to chew? Honestly!

[livejournal.com profile] bookscorpion is back! However, I can't rent out a room in her place because her family's coming down here in March so there's no room. However, Mum has conceded that seeing as my friends are all still at home and that living with strangers would be an uncomfortable experience that I can stay here until Mike goes back to Japan in 6 months time. Heh...looks like stubborness can get you somewhere, but I hope to clean up my room anyway, 'cause it's a decent thing to do.

Now onto the Memes!

Kidhood Memories

Pick any 3 things that you remember from your kidhood (ages 0-18) and describe them. This could be anywhere from people you were around a lot, to a certain family vacation, to a certain moment that you remember. Be creative!

1. My beloved trampoline, it was Olympic sized and my father got it free from his school. I think it was because it was missing a few safety mats, but it rocked! I remember jumping on it for hours on end! My ankles were stronger back then so even when I twisted one it felt Ok...In fact the only time I was injured on it was when I went flying off it and hit the ground knocking the air out of me. Now, that hurt! Another time I ended up landing very awkardly on one of the bars...which oddly enough wasn't all that painful.

2. Frankie! Franke was bright yellow and chirpy. His catch was located in the family room and I fed him most of the time...if I didn't my mother would remember. Every month or so we'd have to clean out his cage and Mum would reach in to take hold of him and then pass him to me so he wouldn't fly away and hit the window. He didn't seem to mind been held so I'd bet his head while Mum relined the cage. Ahhh, those were good times.

3. When we were in England we went to some sort of garden thing...not sure what it was all about...so anyway we were walking down a trail to the bottom of a steep hill. I was busy thinking up stories as I often to do whilst walking and didn't notice how close I was getting to the edge...At least not until I went over the side down the slope and a fantastic running speed! I wasn't able to stop! I thought for sure I was gonna die or something...but suddenly I ran into a huge and went flying into a huge pile of leaves which thankfully broke my fall. My bros came over to see if I was all right, which I was, except for a scratch up my arm. When I got back onto the path my father only had one question: "Did you wreck my coat?"
That's fatherhood for ya! :OP

Bonus Question for Comments: Where did you grow up (location-wise)? Did you like it? Do you still live there? Why/why not?

In the country for five years, then the city. I loved the country, with the huge backyard, trampoline and pool it was all cool! My best friend lived there too...I was heartbroken when we had to leave and I thought I'd never settle in Sydney, but I did. We had to leave the country because my father got a new job and his contract as principal at the school in Dubbo was over. One wonders though if I'd have still liked Dubbo once I was a teen...it was pretty slow there.

Thursday Threesome

::"The Shakiest Gun in the West"::

Onesome: The Shakiest-- comedian is gone! ...but not forgotten: what scene or what movie/TV show was your favorite Don Knotts piece?

Who?

Twosome: Gun-- Who handles the law enforcement powers in your neck of the woods? Is it a police department or a sheriff's office? ...or are you under military jurisdiction?

Police Department, although at the moment the Secret Sercice types are getting more and more power, which really is pretty spooky...I mean I don't want the army poking their nose into my business. Especially when they don't have to follow usual laws...Creepy!

Threesome: In the West-- Okay, quickly now: your favorite scene in any western! Nope, not the movie, just the one scene you like best or is most memorable to you...

Heh...well the only western I've seen is BTTF Part III and my favourite scene is the Town Festival, with Doc dancing with Clara, the McFlys showing up and Marty saving Doc with the pie tin! "Frisbee far out!"

Well, I guess I should get to bed...going into Uni tomorrow to hopefully finish off the papers and Preview has given me some work next week. Noice, but still, a Moose needs a full-time job! Sigh!
