8:26pm: Yes, Bathurst is famous for its race track and that's where the hotel is overlooking the straight. Fortunately the race isn't run this time of year otherwise it'd be as loud as Hell with all those cars racing past. As it is every so often a member of the public drives past.

Anyway I got here on the train OK, but panicked on the bus a bit which has left me with a scratch, damn. Well at least I brought the concealer along, plus I survived the trip. It was quite comfortable actually, colour me surprised. Maybe I can finally catch the train again.

Anyway I have to cut this short because while there is free internet in the hotel but I stupidly managed to use up the allocated daily bandwidth and my phone's data is very low so yeah.

I hope to be able to report more tomorrow after I go to my graduation ceremony.
